Brian

Just remember, when the bombs come, Duck and Cover.

I'm here today but off Monday. In fact, one of the few people here today and it's slow AF. Suppose to drive down to St. Louis around 4:30 after work, weather permitting, but not looking good. Maybe pulling a Kevin McAllister this year with the rest of my family already down there.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Dec 22, 2016 -> 04:11 PM) Recently watched: You're the Worst (I think Brian rec'd that one? Whomever did thank you!) You're welcome. Love that show

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 22, 2016 -> 04:06 PM) Cena returning in front of his favorite crowd plus 3 title matches? You have to go Smackdown I would think. It's basically a ppv. Unless his daughter likes Bayley, like most little girls...and Rowand44.

Do the podcast the show when it's over or anything?

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 22, 2016 -> 12:18 PM) The last season of Black Mirror was the best. The earlier seasons are still good, just not quite as good as the last season. San Junipero is making a bunch of "Best of" lists. Hard to disagree

Trump tweeting about getting more nukes already. Sweet.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 22, 2016 -> 11:06 AM) The Americans - If you start this show, you will not be able to stop. Sherlock(BBC) - Not a ton of episodes, so you won't feel overwhelmed. Black Mirror I stopped pretty easily on The Americans. This new season of Black Mirror was great. Going through older ones now when I have time.

Let's see how long "indefinitely" is before we start praising the decision. I'll agree with Jay Williams and say 5 games should be the punishment.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 21, 2016 -> 05:00 PM) http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/21/sports/r...y-cte.html?_r=0 Really good read... Yeah, that was super sad.

As much as I hate that show now, it's run was incredible, especially with how quick some shows came and went. They were appointment radio in the early 2000's but I just got tired of it. I'd like to hear the end of the show to hear how they sign off. Hopefully it will be up online since I'll be at work.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Dec 21, 2016 -> 04:24 PM) I'm going to both Raw and Smackdown, I know I'll be burnt out but two different groups of friends wanted to go the separate nights, so what the heck. I can barely sit through Raw at home. They aren't hyping up next week as much as SD is.

My buddy told me Search Party on TBS was funny so I'll check it out. Still have to watch Luke Cage as well.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 21, 2016 -> 02:21 PM) Smackdown in Chicago next week previews to be a very entertaining show with 3 belts on the line. Yeah. I wish I could go to that but I'd be worn out at work the next day. We'll see.

In my life time. Clinton Obama Bush 41 Reagan Bush 43 I can only really judge the last 3. Too young for RR and Bush 41. Looking back, I feel the 80s could've been so easy but in retrospect started the WallStreet power surge. The Oliver North stuff makes RR look bad, along with ignoring the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

I saw the last few minutes and while ND was trying to get cheap calls, you can tell he was going to shake hands until they tried to steal the ball and that made him pull his team off the floor before the shake. Bush League.

McCaffery, stay classy. http://deadspin.com/iowa-refuses-to-shake-...n-by-1790349576

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 20, 2016 -> 08:13 PM) Brian, what's wrong with Passengers? I'm guessing it doesn't have anything to do with Jennifer Lawrence speaking out after the election? Bad early reviews? Yeah. It's getting ripped pretty bad by critics and on twitter.

Do they have any wins for the NCAA to strip?

My Superstar of the Year is probably Jericho. Who'd a thunk it?

I would definitely include Die Hard and Gremlins as Christmas movies. Rocky IV, not so much. The best Christmas movies aren't even about Christmas. They're stories told during Christmas time.

Singles Match of the Year: The 2nd AJ vs Reigns match or Dolph career vs Miz title. Tag Match of the Year: Revival vs DIY at Takeover Brooklyn 2 Best Tag Team: The Revival Women's Match of the Year: Mania Triple Threat Woman of the Year: Charlotte Breakout Star of the Year: Alexa Bliss Feud of the Year: Charlotte vs Sasha, even though it's dragged on a bit. 1 Prediction for 2017: Cesaro will win one of the heavyweight titles. Sigh Best Show: NXT Takeover Dallas Surprise of Year was Ryder winning ladder match at Mania. cWc was great viewing

It's slow at work so as the year comes to a close, I thought it'be fun to get everyone's opinion on the following. My responses will probably be all WWE/NXT because that's what I see. Singles Match of the Year: Tag Match of the Year: Women's Match of the Year: Woman of the Year: Breakout Star of the Year: Feud of the Year: 1 Prediction for 2017: Make up your own topics.

Hawk and Wimpy were fantastic. Unfortunately he's a dead horse beating cartoon character now.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 19, 2016 -> 03:28 PM) I could care less. It is that NFL contract that is the winning powerball ticket. The players don't get a damned thing from winning a national title. If they feel like sitting out to protect themselves, more power to them. Nobody is arguing with you here. We all agree with the kids.
