  1. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 9, 2007 -> 08:52 PM) So Tony Young(as in the Tony Young that played for SIU bball last year) got thrown out of one of our intramural football games today. What the heck is he doing in Carbondale? Still taking classes?
  2. Just watched Jericho's 99 debut on dailymotion.com. The unedited one. Love when everyone starts chanting "Rocky, Rocky!" and Jericho replies, "Thank you!"
  3. Too bad Santino is not a very good wrestler cuz he is money on the mic.
  4. I got attacked by a bunch of Cub fans today at the gym, verbally. A week ago, they were asking me when the Sox played and all that crap. I just shrugged it off cuz I couldn't talk. Than today, I turn it back on them and they go off with the usual attendance stuff and how we only had 72 wins and stuff like that. It was funny. They were overrating the talents of DeRosa, Fontenot, and Theriot. Everytime I brought up our trophy, they were like, "That was 2 years ago. Talk about the present." I said that I was sure if the Cubs ever won, then 2 years later Cub fans would forget about the title. They didn't really respond to that. Good times.
  5. I think ARod ends up out West if he leaves NY. Just a guess.
  6. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Oct 9, 2007 -> 09:13 AM) Yeah, I can't believe there are commentators and people out there who honestly think the Patriots first loss has a good chance of occurring against Dallas. Who will beat NE? I don't know. It very well might be someone I didn't expect, or anyone else. But I doubt it's Dallas. I'd guess someone like, say, Pittsburgh. But not Dallas. I say nobody beat NE this year. 19-0 and i stand by it. But I could see them losing a game they shouldn't. Hard to be "on" for 19 straight games without a let down.
  7. Big win for Dallas cuz if they lose tonight, they probably lose 2 in a row.
  8. Get Kornheiser off these games. It's a terrible rule to call a timeout to ice the kicker? What a douche!
  9. It's good!! But a timeout called! HA HA HA
  10. No catch. I really thought this game was gonna be a stinker.
  11. Bye Bye Bronx again! Congrats Tribe.
  12. QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 10:39 PM) Good Romo....... leads the drive to get 6. Bad Romo....... cant get the 2pt conversion to tie the game That was a great play to knock the ball away from TO. And they recover the onside kick. Unreal.
  13. QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 09:34 PM) Yep it was. Im actually really liking this show, reminds me of the college life of trying to hook up with random women lol, the belt part was classic lol. That one guy Patrick Harris looks like that one guy on Malcolm in the Middle, Francis. Yes, the belt was awesome and it was the old WWF Title belt.
  14. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 10:05 PM) Good call! Do we see DX reform? Or do they go solo for a while? Please, no more DX! I marked a bit when HBK came out. Him vs. Orton would make my head explode with confusion as to who to pull for.
  15. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 07:31 PM) Supposedly a Y2J chant went on last night for quite some time. The natives are getting restless It was very loud at the start of the PPV and Vince said he wanted to give the fans what they wanted. The Y2J chants got even louder and he said, "I'm not giving you that tonight."
  16. Was that Winnie Cooper on "How I Met Your Mother"?
  17. QUOTE(Shadows @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 07:08 PM) thank god the spinner title is gone Hopefully they bring back the old belt tonight.
  18. 2-0 Tribe. Bottom 1, ARod comes up with 2 on and one out and K's. Go figure.
  19. Grade 3 concussion for Trent Green. Do Dolphin fans regret not drafting Quinn yet?
  20. QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 03:27 PM) Went to No Mercy last minute last night. Very good show to be at, very lively crowd. When we got there, some video was showing on the titantron and everytime Cena was shown, it was MAJOR heat. The Punjabi match was lame but I thought the ending was well done. Batista looked athletic. How did that come off live?
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 09:21 AM) agreed. This weeks episode was terrible. The whole accidently-killing-the-stalker-and-throwing-his-dead-corpse-off-of-a-bridge thing made me turn the show off. I don't think it was that bad. If the guy isn't dead and starts stalking them like "I Know What You Did Last Summer", than I will agree with you.
  22. QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 09:22 AM) so now we base the Heisman on your career stats and not the current season? No, but if you want to go on current stats. Hart has more than 200 yards rushing than Mendenhall, but 60 more carries. Illinois has an offense where they get more guys to run the ball than just one, like Michigan does. That probably hurts Mendenhall. I would say Hart and Rashard are different types of runners. Mendenhall, when his college career is over, probably will be more ready for the NFL than Hart will after this year. Mike is just too small. I remember seeing Mendenhall in high school and tell he could be special.
  23. QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 09:14 AM) Have I missed the last four years of college football? When did Mike Hart become the Reggie Bush of college football? He's a decent back with a ridiculous offensive line. Gee that must be tough. Explain how Hart is better than Mendenhall. Mendenhall is probably stronger, more agile, and has break away speed. At the end of the year he's going to have better numbers than Hart, with 1/4 less carries. Watching Hart the last 3+ years, he is a small guy who will take it at the biggest guy on the other team. He is tough to bring down and has explosive speed as well. Every back needs a good offensive line. When did Mendenhall become the leader for the Heisman with some people here? He is very good, but he is not even close to having the stats Mike Hart has put up in his career at Michigan.
