  4. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 13, 2007 -> 12:47 AM) So after getting a national top 10 ranking, St. Rita has tailed off and now stands at 1-3 in the CLB. Granted, it's probably one of the better conferences in America and none of those losses should be conisdered bad, it's still funny to see them fall so hard. Yeah, St. Rita is still a very good team. Any other conference and they maybe undefeated. Rowand, STEVENSON VS. WARREN next Friday night!!!! Both teams in playoffs. Patriots have won 5 in a row.
  5. QUOTE(The Critic @ Oct 13, 2007 -> 07:56 AM) I think 3 hours is too much Hall. I'm only an hour into it and can't wait to have some free time to finish. I think he is a good talker with some good stories. I like how he talks about psychology in the ring and points to certain things. Makes me look back and go, "I remember that. It makes sense."
  6. QUOTE(The Critic @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 05:44 PM) Just watched it on YouTube. Pretty interesting stuff. Hall's a good talker but I never what percentage of his words to believe. The version on youtube is only 1/4 of the whole one. It is like 3 hours long.
  7. QUOTE(thedoctor @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 01:44 PM) illinois has commits jereme richmond, d.j. richardson, joe bertrand, brandon paul as well as recruits marcus jordan, nik garcia, crandall head, and anthony johnson. maybe a few others as well but i don't have all the names yet. I forgot about Jereme Richmond. I'll be seeing a lot of him this year as well.
  8. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 12:47 PM) You had five to begin with. You held on to them as long as you could. "2 weeks away" High 5!
  9. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 12:11 PM) Earl is a very underappreciated show. I love NBC Thursday night TV, and I can't wait for Scrubs to start again. Anyone know of a good website I can watch season 1 and 2 on? 2 weeks til Scrubs!
  10. I just started watching "My name Is Earl". Gotta watch the first 2 seasons now. "He has an El Camino! That's like the Cadillac of cars!"
  11. QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 08:48 PM) I was talking to him at the Homecoming dance and he said that he was doing alright. He was having a good time and dancing so i think that the knee is ok. But we'll see this weekend. Shouldn't need him the next two weeks. Save him for playoffs, IMO.

    QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 11:20 PM) Just got back from watching "Into The Wild" and I enjoyed it tremendously. The cinematography is amazing and there are also a few outstanding performances. The best thing Penn does in this film is to focus not on what the kid was running from, but what he was running to. Waiting for it to come to a theatre near me still.
  13. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 01:55 AM) So I watched ER tonight, and really liked it. I'm just wondering if I can still keep my man card. You think that's bad? I'm a faithful Grey's Anatomy watcher. Maybe I should of kept that to myself.
  14. I'd rather give that money to Hunter if it came down to it.
  15. QUOTE(Shadows @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 06:18 PM) Fixed it for ya partna Dolphins suck.
  16. I see Brandon Paul play a lot so here is what I noticed about him in the past year: Last year, he started at the sophomore level and was unchallenged. He was dunking for kids and going to the basket with ease. He HAD to be called up to varsity. As a sophmore on varsity, he tried to do the same things he did on the sophmore level but Warren was a state ranked team and there were better option than him. He had a couple of 15 point games, but in the sectionals and supers, he struggled because he wasn't strong enough. From what I read this summer, he was awesome in AAU. Putting up 20 a game. He plays at a high school where defense is a priority, but his offensive skills are too much to overlook. He needs to fill out more. From what I hear, he is a smart, modest kid. Coach Ramsey at Warren loves his "basketball IQ" so I'm sure he will improve and grow. Like I said, I will see him play a lot this year and will let you know how he progresses.
  17. Heard the two verbals are from DJ Richardson and Brandon Paul. Paul is a junior at Warren in Gurnee. Has so much talent. I will get to watch a lot of him this year.
  18. The complete Scott Hall Shoot Interview is up at veoh.com. I shall be watching it this weekend.

    QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 02:17 PM) I'm going as THE TODD Website High 5! SLAP!
  20. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 01:05 PM) Iowa will pull the upset. Our defense will do a good job against the run and Christensen is actually gonna have a good game. And yes, this is me getting all dreamy cause I always predict wins over the Illini. No disrespect to any Illini fans here, but I hope Iowa does win because I have a few friends who went to Illinois who are impossible to deal with right now. If Illinois beats Michigan, I'm in for a long week after.
  21. QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 03:47 PM) OMG My last year of High School, then SIU! Lets go Baby! Wes Clem, Green, and JBone got to step it up so we can get it done! MVC Kings! Soooooooooo Pumped! How's Jon Janus' knee?
  22. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 10, 2007 -> 08:14 AM) http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedi.../content.1.html The Salukis, Hoosiers, Jayhawks, and Tar Heels all get love in SI's top 15 frontcourts for the upcoming season. I love Falker, but if he was 2 or 3 inches taller, Yikes! Gonzaga! OMG!!!1! FTW!
  23. Yes! Salukis! Can we keep the Iowa State talk to a minimum in this thread?
