QUOTE(greg775 @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) why do we only have 2 runs thru six innings? pathetic. At the risk of sounding like Hawk, seems like we are having good ABs and getting guys on, but once again, no hitting with RISP or anything clutch. We worked Bedard into a high pitch count and hopefully out of the game. Dye could of been huge tonight.

QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 07:58 PM) Bottom 6TH B:0 S:0 O:0 Defensive Substitution: Ross Gload replaces first baseman Paul Konerko, batting 4th, playing first base. Can anyone explain? Fouled a ball off his foot earlier. Looked bad at the time but he played a few innings after it.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 07:53 PM) Hawk and DJ back to dishing out the excuses. Apparently, our players are all struggling because they don't want to be traded away from their bestest friends. It is downright annoying now. Hawk not even paying attention to the game it seems.

ESPN reporter regrets Soriano 'scoop'
Kurkijan and other beat reporters are in no win situations constantly. If they report something and it doesn't happen, they suck in peoples eyes even if the deal was close but something fell through. And if they report something and it happens, nobody says anything about the reporter.

Superstitions. Which one will you employ to stop the losing?
I've watched Sox Pride DVD about 5 times in the last week, hasn't helped.

QUOTE(maggliopipe @ Jul 27, 2006 -> 12:18 AM) sour cream is delicious. sometimes when no one is looking i pull the container out of the fridge and a spoon out of the utensils drawer and eat a few tablespoons of it. or dollops, to be more accurate. Alright, I'll bite. Sometimes when nobody is looking, I pop open the fridge, pull out the A1 sauce and take a sweet sip.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jul 27, 2006 -> 05:52 PM) Are you serious? He was dating her? Wow what a waste of a beautiful girl, she can come see me if she really wants, haha. She is cute but really packed on the lbs. I haven't seen a pic of her in a few years so hope she got her weight down.

Beutiful 0-2 pitch by Buehrle to Morneau. Do our pitchers go stupid when they get ahead in the count 0-2?

Culpepper cleared
Daunte Culpepper has been medically cleared by Dolphins doctors to begin camp. In the year of the mending quarterback, Culpepper's recovery has been the most striking. Daunte was throwing bombs and scrambling in minicamps, visible to all on SportsCenter. Culpepper, who's been going in the mid-late to late-rounds in many regular format re-draft leagues, appears a low-risk, high-reward fantasy QB in 2006. Jul. 26 - 1:28 pm et Source: South Florida Sun-Sentinel Talk about a fast recovery. Know there are some fins fans here. Look out for the Dolphins.

QUOTE(T R U @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 03:03 PM) I dont care what you guys say Randy Orton is the fishin man.. hes badass No arguement here. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 06:08 PM) Was the Rock better than Austin? IMO, nobody was, except perhaps Foley, although Foley is easily the best real promo in the business, which was something I can't ever remember Austin giving. Austin's stuff in ECW was entertaining. And please tell me you don't think Austin is the greatest at anything. Before his neck injury, he was a top notch athlete, but his mic work will never compare to the old stuff from Flair, Dusty, Jake Roberts, Bobby Heenan, Terry Funk, etc... It seems there are wrestling fans on here that never saw anything before 1997. P.S. After tonights show, and I apologize ahead of time, but I'm the Kelly bandwagon. She can't dance and will take time to learn the biz, but she is smoking hot. And Ariel, Shelly Martinez, is a freak, but a good freak.
