Brian

Cute girl in a black shirt behind Sox dugout. Look out for big thread on her tomorrow.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 06:39 PM) How can they take DJ seriously like that? I couldn't take DJ seriously with his normal look.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 06:23 PM) In his last 7 games he's been hitting a whopping .158. That's his first HR in that timespan. Check his stats since the All Star break. Lots of homers, I bet.

Damnit, Aaron! Stop swinging at the first pitch!

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 06:14 PM) Just got home from work. And I'm going to refrain from starting a personal attack...so just back off. Traffic must have been a b****.

Pods pop ups, 1 out. Tada-hootie?

New delivery for Piniero, with the over head windup. Usually keeps the ball at his side until he delivers.

Half an inning and fathom isn't here to complain about anything, yet.

WTF? no runs for M's in 1st!!

M's called up a nice prospect in Chris Snelling. Outfielder. Ibanez will probably DH for M's or sit. Nice guy off the bench if we got him.

Who hits the first inning homer off Freddy tonight?

QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 05:04 PM) I'm liking Rowand in the 3 hole. Rowand hits well in the 2 or 3 hole. Bats .625 in the 2 hole and a lesser .270 in the 3 hole. Seemed like he hit better than that in the 3 spot when he was there earlier.

If it is Giambi, he should be suspended longer than the first offense of 10 days based on his testimony.

Her mom is still better looking.

Sad week. Read that Buddy Bell and David Bell's relative was killed in Iraq this week as well.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 5, 2005 -> 12:13 PM) He was an All-Star in his last fully-healthy season IIRC and he DID win MVP of that game. I wouldn't trade him just yet...or ever, unless there is something we don't know. I don't think he was the MVP of the game, but he was the starter for the West. He had an awesome 1st half that year, but was downhill after the All Star game.

Good news. Nice to see them spend money in the right places, NOT Theo Fleury. Chelios may of brought people back to the team, but oh well.

Off topic, but just noticed Buehrle will miss the Yankees both series, unless the rotation is mixed up.

I've seen some real smart guys on that show and they lost. I would have no chance.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 08:03 PM) Does ozzie realize what inning it is? LoL, just saying the same thing. He's gonna burn the pen out. Thinks it is the 8th.

They said they had a power surge in the production truck, but everything is good now.

Something is wrong in the truck because they are only using the camera behind home plate. Don't know if Hawk and DJ realize they are on the air.

Um, Comcast SportsNet in Chicago just put on "This Week In Baseball". Instead of the Sox game. Now it is back, without Hawk and DJ. I like it!

"Take Me Out To The Ballgame" for now. But come September, it will go to "Hail to the Victors".

Contreras is pretty good for afternoon games at home, if I recall.
