  1. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) I still can't believe we're seriously in the playoffs. Agreed. I'm nervous like I was in the 90's. 2:1 odds that Comcast f***s up the production of the game. That was quick. Sounds is all f***ed up.
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 01:31 AM) Bill Walton is an idiot. Yeah, shame on him for having an opinion.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 11:30 PM) I learned Thursday that the best man at my wedding, my daughter's God father, passed away suddenly from complications during emergency heart surgery. It is a classic story of regrets. We had not spoken in years, for reason's he never shared with me. I may never know what I did to piss him off. We didn't have a classic argument. One day I asked when we were going to get together and split our Bulls tickets, and he replied I was out. I asked why and he had no answer. He stopped returning phone calls. I gave up. I assumed it would eventually blow over. I missed my 20th and 25th High School Reunions and probably missed the opportunities to mend fences. Some of you may have read his obituary in the Herald and News Sun. Tom was President of the Woodland School Board and a very nice man. He was 43. Leaves behind two beautiful daughters and his wife. Awful. I read about this in the paper yesterday. Sorry to hear this.

Mark Mulder just got a win for pitching 10 shut out innings vs. Houston. Winning run scored on a Larry Walker RBI single in the bottom of the 10th. Unreal. Cardinals Pitcher IP PC H ER BB K Mulder 10.0 101 4 0 0 5
  6. I play online so rarely. Timing is way off when I pitch.
  7. Maybe the site got ANthrax.
  8. Hawk also has that man crush on Cotts. Imagine how he'd be if that was the match up. Thank God it isn't.
  9. Braylon Edwards would of been better.
  10. That would leave a mark, but not surprised.
  11. I remember this from the ESPY's a few years ago.

QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 09:48 PM) Did one of those morons on MJ&H just call Jose Valentin... Jose Valentine...? If they did, it was probably intentional. They call Maddux, Maddox, to make fun of those who make that mistake frequently.

I don't wish injury on anyone. That .150 average was hurting the team itself.

  22. Do we lead the frigging league in walks? Jeez!
  23. Anyone else notice how far off the plate Rowand has been standing? Seems he is hitting balls off the end of the bat that would be hitting the sweet spot. Maybe just me.
  24. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 19, 2005 -> 01:40 AM) One thing I've noticed about AJ is he very, very rarely has gone to the mound to settle our pitchers down. Bad luck tends to come on a roll, as a catcher you need to get out there and ice the offense. AJ knows the Twins better than any catcher in the league. Contreras is out there shaking him off every other pitch. AJ should of gone out there multiple times and smacked him around.
