  1. I'll add Goodfellas to ones listed as multiple watches
  2. I know a guy who is like 26 and he's writing blogs about Bowie and how important he was. I'm 36 and I know Bowie but never drooled over him. Before even my time.
  3. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 12:06 PM) Didn't Luke burn his body? Something like that but Snoke isn't a tangible being. Jedi's become something when they die.
  4. I recommend watching "Ways to Die in Oregon". It was on Netflix a few months ago. Not sure if it is anymore. I'm all for assisted suicide if it's hopeless for a patient and there's nothing modern medicine can do.
  5. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Jan 10, 2016 -> 09:14 PM) Lmfao! This thread was started on December 13th, is just shy of being a month old and is over 150 pages long, yet we still have no clue what's going with Cespedes. This thread is the biggest cocktease in Soxtalk history.
  6. One of the voice I associate with my youth even though I was too young to be a fan. Ugh. F Cancer

    QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 10, 2016 -> 06:06 AM) I did get a chuckle out of the Adderal-induced Cherry Pie faux "striptease" scene. Malin Ackerman's always been underrated as a an actress because she began as a model. And the last 30 secs is pretty great. Rewound it quite a few times.

    QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 9, 2016 -> 10:40 PM) It Follows is better than The Final Girls, although it has its share of 80's slasher flick satire moments. I just had fun watching The Final Girls. Nothing artsy about it. It could've just been same old satire but the story with Max and her mom was solid. I liked It Follows as well. You don't need CG or gore to make a great horror.

    Funny you mention Dances with Wolves cuz I joked this was a sequel.
  14. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jan 8, 2016 -> 05:22 PM) Sooo any shows that just started in the new year worth a watch? American Crime looks interesting. Not sure if you need to watch the first season or not. I am looking forward to Billions on Showtime and the OJ show on FX. Watched first episode of AC. Anthology series so don't need to see season 1. OJ miniseries is really good according to Closterman who saw 6 eps.
  15. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 8, 2016 -> 03:45 PM) This thread needs more Con Air. And Face/Off
  16. QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Jan 8, 2016 -> 02:47 PM) Got it. Use the quote feature man! I wanted it to remain vague to try and stay out of it. Kind of like a hit and run comment.
  17. Season premiere of Shameless is on demand. Fine premiere. I kinda hate Deb and Carl. Hope that's the point. Lotsa bewbs
  18. QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Jan 8, 2016 -> 02:44 PM) Love the book, hate the movie. What's hard to understand? Or were you referring the the Batman movie debate? My comment wasn't directed at you. That's my bad. Yes.
  19. This has to be a joke debate. I've never seen such incoherent reasoning from one person. Someone must think Khloe is the hottest Kardashian.

    "The Revenant" was excellent. Best direction and acting I've seen all year. Also best cinematography. Really felt in the scene between that and the way the fourth wall was broken a few times. Leo will get the recognition but Tom Hardy continues to roll.

    It odd because you have two directors known for comedy in Jay Roach and Adam McKay jump to something outside their norm in Trumbo and Big Short respectively. I was meh on Trumbo but loved Big Short.

    QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 8, 2016 -> 07:42 AM) Trumbo with Bryan Cranston is definitely worth checking out... Meh. Cranston was good but I thought the direction was awful. I liked the timeline of events but some scenes were so short and pointless.
  23. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 7, 2016 -> 06:59 PM) Judging by DB's tweet today I think there's hope he gets cleared and soon. If he doesn't show up in the Rumble, I'm thinking he may never come back.
  24. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jan 7, 2016 -> 12:53 PM) Latest my brother, who's a bigger wrestling nerd than me, is hearing is WWE is in talks with Adam Cole. He's also hearing they wanna "Fast track" Joe and have him feud with Roman soon. I could see Joe be brought up as a "Hired gun" for Vince to take out Reigns. Not sure if it was TNA or even ROH, but Joe has played the hired gun role before. Cole would be yet another good get if true. He was just on the Sam Roberts podcast, and my brother tells me all of Roberts previous guests have been WWE employees so he thinks that's a sign. Assumed Joe would be up soon after losing to Finn. We'll see if he's on the next NXT tapings this weekend.
