  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 19, 2013 -> 04:39 PM) Creighton-Shockers and Lville-Cuse nearly identical basketball games right now. Why doesn't McDermott leave the Valley?

QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Jan 17, 2013 -> 05:23 PM) I never watched Archer, but I'm an H. Jon Benjamin fan. Is it a serial, or can you just jump in? Netflix streaming

QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 16, 2013 -> 10:38 PM) I really liked The Artist. Not so much The Hurt Locker, but that's not really my genre. The Artist was both up my alley and a real masterpiece. Not many filmmakers can do something so well while not taking themselves super seriously (see Lincoln for a film taking itself seriously) I loved The Artist. When you have a time in films where everything is so big and loud, than you see this charming silent movie, you see how much acting is non verbal. Also simple story telling and filmmaking can make a great movie without a cut every 2 seconds and constant camera movement.
  5. I remember Musberger mentioning dead gf during title game. Why wouldn't espn tell him o at least not emotion that if they knew?
  6. I'm curious how Deadspin got turned onto a story like this.
  7. That article is confusing. Anyone got cliff notes?

I thought ZERO DARK THIRTY was really good but somewhat over hyped. The compound assault was extremely well done but the other stuff felt like it was just killing time. It's hard to judge since its actual events but things happened to conveniently. And I didn't know who the lesser people they were chasing were. Expected torture scenes to be tougher as well. The people criticizing those scenes obviously didnt see it. I'd put it behind Argo, Playbook, beasts, and PI in Best pic category.
  9. Lowery leave his Playbook for last second plays behind?
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 15, 2013 -> 05:35 AM) SIU/Bradley is on Comcast tonite. Wheeeeeeeeeee I'll have to DVR it. Meeting tonight.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 14, 2013 -> 08:05 AM) Things not going all that well. Tyler Brown was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules. Anthony Beane must be psychic

QUOTE (juddling @ Jan 14, 2013 -> 07:34 AM) For whatever reason ABC is burning off their remaining episodes of Happy Endings (Their funniest comedy IMO) on sunday nights as well as their usual night. Lance Briggs was in last night's episode...... maybe TBS can pick this show up as ABC is acting like they are done with it..... I couldn't get into Happy Endings, fo some reason. I like some of the cast, specifically the women were the funniest, but just didn't click for me.
  13. No Illinois State talk lately.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 14, 2013 -> 06:11 AM) I loved the first episode of Shameless, Frank mysteriously ending up in Mexico on a 130 day binge was hilarious. And his method of getting back was even more hilarious. "19!" Did anyone notice the odd filming of certain scenes, some random camera angles and zoom ins, shaky camera work? It kind of threw me off. Yes! I thought it was just me. The jump cuts were annoying as well. The little scene during the credits was good. "Thank you, Sheila!"
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 14, 2013 -> 05:32 AM) The Salukis gave WSU all they could handle in Wichita last week. All is not well for the Shockers, they should have been wiping the floor with a severely undermanned SIU. Witchita State underachieving? SHOCKing! See what I did there? Their freshman, Fred Van Fleet, will be my nemesis for the next four year after he went off against Warren last year in the super sectionals.
  16. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 03:37 PM) Well according to everyone this game will be closer than people think. Tom.Brady. Studly.

Final season Dexter will start early on June 30. Homeland returns after that run in Sept back to back with a new Showtime drama.
  18. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 03:10 PM) Pete Carroll... you're a f***ing idiot. That was funny watching him deny calling TO but replay shows he did. What an ass
  19. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 03:08 PM) Why'd atl call the to so early? To give Leon Washington a shot
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 02:46 PM) Hey you don't get to complain about the refs when it was 12-4 going into the last min fouling period. Honestly I taped the game but i assume this was a typical home win. We will prob get blown out in AA. The offense can't continue to be Thomas and nobody else. I'm not blaming refs for loss, but when u see the play, even you would agree.
  21. Pretty obvious Wilson will pull this out
  22. Glad they didnt storm the floor. /bitter B10 is fun.
  23. How is that not an And1?
