QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 09:53 PM) Keep the Rock in the locker room. If it happens, WWE will regret taking the belt off Punk and putting it on Rock at Rumble. Just my opinion. I'd like to see... Punk beats Rock Retains in Chamber Comes out on next Raw and says, "Nobody can beat me!" Lights go out. DONG! Punk ends Takers streak at Mania. I don't see the need for Punk to lose it anytime soon. That said, Rock will probably win and lose it to Cena at Mania. Yawn.

That is what I felt was going to happen, but so many people were saying it would be close, I think I started to feel that way as well. Work will be fun today.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 06:15 PM) Thats about what I expect. Some of my michigan fan friends hate ND more than OSU. I do. If I went to Michigan, it may be a different story, but ND is my most hated college.

Watched "Sleepwalk With Me" on train today. Short dramedy that I was fully satisfied with.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 03:25 PM) Wait, arent you a Michigan fan? I dont know any UM fans that are remotely pulling for the domers. I hope it's decided by the end of the 1st quarter. Plus, if ND wins, the Irish "fans" at work will be the most ungracious winners ever.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 5, 2013 -> 06:14 PM) Simeon getting pounded by the #1 team in the country right now. I still have no idea what position Nunn should be playing in Groce's system, as his jump shot is awful. It's interesting that Marquette was one of his finalists as he reminds me a lot of the athletic, slashing guards they've had of late. Awful defensive game.

Long has been pretty beat up the past few years. When he is healthy, he is a wall. Not sure if he will ever be healthy again though.

I remember being so bored in the theatre watching The Sixth Sense. I was going thru my film snob stage but caught onto the twist 30 mins in and was tired of all the whispering. Was hoping they would have the kid help more people with his gift. Guess it was just me.

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 2, 2013 -> 09:41 PM) I'll say it before the Illinois guys: Byrd never should have been given that timeout because he was falling out of bounds. Edit- and yeah, he was still sliding too. Not sure what the college rule but in high school, maybe two years ago, they changed the rule that if you are sliding with the ball, you can call a timeout and it's not a travel. But if you roll on the ground, its a travel. I didn't see the play you are talking about either.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 2, 2013 -> 09:13 PM) Interesting. I need to go watch him in person. He's pretty awesome right now. Would like him better if he went to Warren. Stevenson has another sophomore, Connor Cashaw who will be D1 as well.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 2, 2013 -> 08:10 PM) Also, what Simeon games did you catch? Nunn and Tate played pretty well this weekend. All of em. The best thing Tate can do is shoot FTs. Nunn had more potential in college than Tate but neither will be better than Abrams.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jan 2, 2013 -> 07:56 PM) Um, better!? I've heard good things about Pollard, but Illinois got arguably two better players in Nunn and Tate (Tate is arguable, but fills a huge position of need). Groce is clearly going to make strides recruiting Chicago, we've got a pretty damn good class coming in and he did that in a short amount of time. I still think Nunn and Tate were recruited based on playing together rather then their individual games. Neither has been very impressive this season. Especially when Jabari was out, neither stepped up like the should have.
