QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 27, 2010 -> 02:07 PM) Also, Bulls will probably get the fifth seed if Bosh stays out, and they'll probably end up with Boston or Atlanta, and I think they can beat either of them in a 7-game series, especially with a healthy Noah. The Bulls haven't matched up with Atlanta very well the past 2 seasons. I would rather play an old, beaten, battered, and scarred Boston team.

I'm opening myself of for ridicule, but I got a pass to see COP OUT from work.....and....I'm sorry, but....I liked it. I thought it was funny and the story was good. The first scene, Kevin Smith pretty much says that it is an omage to the 80's buddy cop movies and it was dead on. I see it is getting ripped in reviews but these critics are taking it too seriously. It was fun.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Feb 26, 2010 -> 03:24 AM) I thought he wasn't that good. I know he was going for that "flustered" promo he's been doing more and more as he ages, but it seemed like he couldn't figure out anything to say so he'd go "AAAGGHHHH" or "I HATE YOU" or whatever. I would have liked a vintage cocky Flair promo asking Abyss who he's ever wrestled, and then running down the names of the legendary guys he's had classics with. Maybe they were afraid that kind of promo would make Abyss look weak? Flair was SOAKED in sweat when he took that jacket off. Reminded me of myself when the temp gets into the 90's. Gross. And AJ doing promos as a Flair impersonator seems awkward. It goes along with the storyline, but it just sounds weird to hear Flair's inflections with Styles' voice. You and I should do a wrestling radio show, Critic. We like the same things but disagree a lot on certain points. Ha

PLEASE tell me someone else saw Flair on Impact tonight. It was classically awesome the way he was going off.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 25, 2010 -> 10:25 PM) Hmm, Hasheem Thabeet sent to D-League. That was such a bad pick, I'll never understand his predraft hype. You didn't like the #2 selection of a tall guy with very few offensive skills outside of jumping? I didn't even like him at UConn.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 01:41 PM) Also Michael Cole was very irritating to listen to last night. According to Joey Styles those were his legit feelings on Danielson/guys in the indies. If that is the case, that is just wrong to bury those guys on TV like he did. Cole could go down as the 2nd worst commentator next to Mike Adamle. I would think guys in WWE would watch ROH and other indy stuff to scout out young guys. Cole is a douche and easily the worst announcer in a long long time. MAYBE worse than Adamle.

How come I don't find Elizabeth Banks as attractive as other people do? BTW, I'm rubber and you all are glue. So you know what happens to any "gay" replies.

I like Van Pelt. He took it like a pro. The guy sounded nothing like Westbrook though. That said, if I saw it LIVE and wasn't expecting it, I wouldn't of noticed. Wonder how the guy keeps getting on like that.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 12:37 PM) So what exactly was the point of focusing on an inhaler they found on the ground? Shannon used it the last time they were at the caves when they thought Sawyer was keeping the meds. It was just a nice touch of history. It's not like they had some long running dialogue about the inhaler. It was just something they found.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 10:14 AM) What was the deal with the inhaler? Why waste any time on that scene if it didn't have any significance? Just relive a moment from season 1 that was a big deal to Jack. Seeing his fathers ghost, with the casket there, Adam/Eve. They never have pointless scenes on the show.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 11:17 PM) yeah, I have been off WWE programing for awhile now, but watched NXT because I'm a Danielson fan and thought the concept sounded interesting. I agree, I think it's a good way to put over new talent and was pleased that Danielson seems to be the focus. He got a nice pop when he put Jericho in that leg submission and Jericho sold it like Danielsen was gonna pull off the upset.

NXT was kinda of interesting. Something new and fresh. Danielsen and Jericho had a real good match. Might be a good way to establish and push young talent instead of having them beat Taker at Mania.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 10:11 PM) Big 10 recruiting actually isn't that bad, although Purdue is in serious trouble when their current upperclassmen leave if they don't pick up the pace. Anyways, Illinois should be in if they can beat Minnesota at home this weekend (although 1 more win to get them to 20 would assure it IMO.) Absolutely must win against the Gophers though. The dropoff in that program has been shocking to see, and although I can't speak for past seasons, I will say that they have lost an incredible amount of close games this season. We have to of lost at least 6 or 7 games when we were winning in the last minutes of the game. Our exeution down the stretch is vomit enducing and what we run out of timeouts and down the streth are so lame and predictable.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 08:08 PM) BTW, John Beilein is a dumbass. You have a team that has no good 3 pt shooters and you have your team do nothing but jack up 3 pt shots. Smart coaching. He has a kid, Matt Vogrich, who is deadly from behind the arc and was an All Stater last year, yet never plays him. Leaves Douglas and Novak out there to punish the rims with their bricks.

QUOTE (T R U @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 08:13 PM) Brian, from what ive seen/heard lately it looks like Orton is getting that Austin status where hes essentially a heel yet the fan will cheer for him.. He has been getting a lot of cheers recently, and at the same time ide hardly say he was doing anything a face would do.. True. When he gave Sheamus the RKO on Raw a few weeks ago, that pop was huge.
