The Big Club normally rewards those who have performed well in the minors throughout the year with a call-up. Those I think are worthy: Reed, Munoz, Ginter, and Burke.

Serious discussion on what J Momo was thinking
Gene Honda Civic replied to JUGGERNAUT's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Here's how it should have gone down. I've expanded to include the entire remainder of the season. YTZ37 as mgr: EVERYBODY PLAYS! When I tell them to MB=R vs NYY (4 days rest) NC=F vs DET (6 days rest) JG=S vs DET (5 days rest) EL=S vs DET (4 days rest) Mon = off BC=T vs BOS (5 days rest) MB=W vs BOS (5 days rest) R= off JG= F vs CLE (5 days rest) EL=S vs CLE (5 days rest) NC=S vs CLE (8 days rest) NC has to pitch one game this series. we don't want the others to get too much rest however. Plus he needs to get work we WILL need him down the stretch BC=M vs MIN (5 days rest) MB=T vs MIN (5 days rest) JG= W vs MIN (4 days rest) EL= R vs MIN (4 days rest) 4 tough starters vs MIN @home could put them out of the race for good NC=F @ Bos (4 days rest) This could be a spot start for DW if NC isn't able to get it back on track BC=Sa @Bos (4 days rest) MB=Su @Bos (4 days rest) Mon = OFF JG = T @ MIN (5 days rest) EL = W @ MIN (5 days rest) BC= R @ MIN (4 days rest) NC= F vs KC (6 days rest) MB= Sa vs KC (5 days rest) JG = Su vs KC (4 days rest) EL = M vs NYY (4 days rest) BC = T vs NYY (4 days rest) NC = W vs NYY (4 days rest) Here's a chance to redeem himself in the last Home game of the season. Fan should be very supportive. MB = R @ KC (4 days rest) JG = F @ KC (4 days rest) EL = Sa @KC (4 days rest) BC = Sun @ KC (4 days rest) 4 tough starters against KC in what could be the deciding series in the AL Central With DW's good effort out of the pen today i wouldn't be suprised if gets his old spot back in the rotation. Although I don't like cotts (a guy who hasn't thrown strikes) coming out of the pen, where DW has been a good long reliever. And has the potential to develope into something special(closer). -
Game Thread (8-28): White Sox vs. Team Annhilated
Gene Honda Civic replied to BridgeportHeather's topic in Pale Hose Talk
No Way Danny has performed well out of the pen. He's been fairly clutch in tough situations. whereas Neal gets wild when he's nervous. Danny could be a great assett to this team in the post season. You only need 4 starters at most in the post season. But getting Danny used to his role is the way to go. I think he can be our closer of the future. -
All we are asking that 5th starter to do is give us a chance to win. Neal was more likely to give us a chance to win IN Detroit. he showed in his first game he lets his nerves get to him. Theres no doubt MB rises to the occasion. We would be looking at a sweep here with MB pitcking. And possibly another victory tomorrow, where Cotts would not have been as nervous.

This move just doesn't make any sense to me.

WHICH Soxtalk memeber would ya like to be presiden
Gene Honda Civic replied to Be Good's topic in SLaM
I've got to Nominate WSC425... I'd like a president to come to me with every little descision. I mean we wouldn't have to worry about WSC invading Canada without first having a discussion about it here on the message boards. Vive la Revolution -

Way to go Olivo!!! Now get him home Robbie
-
Looks like Paulie and Crede have Clemens figured out. It's good to see Joe swinging at first pitch too.
-
Yeah if E-lo continues to shut down the yankees, that will gather a lot of attention from the NY media, who don't have a real front running candidate.

What the heck happened??? Did he think he had a triple??? with his speed??? I'm not being sarcastic... i'm stuck in class what happened??? nevermind... i got it

62 pitches already. The Yanks seem to have a good plan against him. Clemens has thrown 38
