  1. Stupid group. Pls work some counts. Good for Seby. He just did. Someone tell our guys that the Twins bullpen is shot and Archer has not gone beyond 5 innings this season. We are playing 2 out innings when Leury bats.
  2. I agree with you and the proof will be in the pudding. Will see in a few hours. Pollock is better than Leury in batting average, defense and power. No pitcher fears Leury.
  3. Robert should have been sent to the Mayo Clinic over the weekend to find out what the hell is going on, instead of sitting in the dugout shooting the breeze and laughing with his buddies.
  4. Still prefer Pollock to Leury. Has better defense and power, and is due.
  5. You got a point. If Leury is the best we got,we have a problem. There is no depth. Don’t we have anyone in the minors that can come in to help.? Can’t Robert DH? He looked like he could hit last time out. This is not the time to being too conservative. Still prefer Pollockto Leury, better defense and more power.
  6. Quintenssentional Sunday Lineup, like it was any other Sunday. TLR going back to TLR ball. Man, no sense of urgency.
  7. We had our chances to come back, but we could not get the big hit. With no homers it is hard to come back from a 6-0 deficit.
  8. At least he is making contact and not taking a third strike instead.
  9. You are right. For the Sox to be an elite team we need more quality lefties in our lineup. There are more righty pitchers than lefties. On the other hand, our opponents are throwing 5 to 7 lefty batters against our righty pitchers. We can get away with it for a few games but it catches up with you during the long season.
  10. It’s been there all game. A Moncada bunt to 3 rd is a sure hit the way they are playing him. This time was almost a swinging bunt.
  11. Lynn is carrying too much weight for his age and those knees. Sox also do not have the best trainers in the bigs.
  12. Homers rule in this series. Need strong pitching to minimize homers. Not with Lynn though. Sox normally have an advantage over the Twins in pitching and the Twins have an advantage in power/ homers. Lynn is now our 5 th starter not good enough to rein in the Twins.
  13. Or with the Mets/Steve Cohen.
  14. Soto (Boras) rejected a $440M offer from the Nats. Don’t get your hopes up. He is out of JR price range.
  15. Couldn’t Robert be further examined today.? You have the Mayo Clinic in Minny. Appears problem with Robert is more in the outfield. He has been hitting well.
  16. I don’t think so. TLR has not done any benching for dogging it or lack of hustle this season, so it would be uncharacteristic. Are there any meds for lightheadedness?
  17. Winner! Good to have the homers and quality pitching that allow us to overcome the potential Leury TLR f*ck up threat.
  18. No. Is there anybody inMLB who takes more three strikes looking than Yoan?
  19. Very glad the shift was on. Somebody learnt the lesson of many hits against the Sox on ground balls down the middle in the last few games.
  20. So glad to see ReyLo coming in and not screwing around by TLR to “save bullpen”, and bringing in Banks, Foster, Ruiz instead , with a 4 run lead.
  21. Homers and good pitching is our success formula, besides keeping TLR away from f*cking up the games.
  22. TA is a much better hitter with no one on base than with RISP.
