  1. Hahn should have spent the Kelly money instead on a good every day lefty outfielder. Hahn seems obsessed with relievers instead. The Needless Kimbrel acquisition last season started the decline of the Sox.
  2. Christmas in July. Sox wrapped a gift win for the Twins. - Robert awful defense on the 2 Arraez doubles. - taking slugger Sheets out for pinch runner in a tied game late and no outs, and not being available to hit in the 9th in a tied game. - Moncada and Engel running blunder resulting in only 5-3 triple play in history. - No coaching at first yelling to Moncada to stay put or come back to first. - Joe Kelly fiasco in the 10th. Including walking two who both scored. - Letting Kelly pitch to the lefty with Banks ready in the bullpen, which cost another 2 runs. And on and on. Chicago Blunder Sox at work tonight. It is tough to be a White Sox fan.
  3. Without the running blunder, it would have been men on first and third with one out in a tied game, with Hendriks and Graveman ready to protect a lead. Would have liked our chances in that scenario.
  4. TA was pitched a total of 6 balls out of the zone and he managed to strike out. He has been a bust with RISP swinging at everything.
  5. Kelly with two walks in the 10 th which both scored it is unacceptable for a quality reliever. He also was left in one batter too long and Cairo let him pitch to a lefty with Banks ready. Major disappointment with Kelly.
  6. That is why you don’t pinch run for a power hitter late in a tied game. Sheets is not that slow to justify taken him down with no outs.
  7. Dumbest play of the century. Why do we have a first base coach? Can’t he tell Moncada to stay pat? Stupid play by Moncada. Stupid play by Engel not tagging up. Sox will be the laughingstock of MLB today. First ever triple play 8-5. Sox base running is a joke. Might as well have let Sheets run for himself, at least he has been hitting the ball well and may need his bat in a close game late.
  8. For a game like this is when we needed to go after signing some left handed power hitters like Joc Pederson and Kyle Schwerber. Those two guys together almost have as many homers as the whole Sox team.
  9. Right on. Joc Pederson and Kyle Schwarber would have looked mighty good in a Sox uniform this season, both with 20 + homers this season so far. Almost like Hahn has forgotten about getting a good LH outfielder..
  10. Zavala hitting may have been underestimated. He hit 20 homers in AAA in 2019, and 23 homers in lower minors in 2017.
  11. If the Sox can replicate the defensive and offensive performances of today, and with our starting rotation back on track as one of the best in MLB, and with Hendriks coming back, we are back in the race. Starting to hit some homers at home, would also help immensely.
  12. I wondered why the Sox didn’t bring him up for one more chance, when were really short and needed bats.
