All this discussion would have been avoided if TLR would have brought in a more effective reliever than Bummer,who walked 2 with a 3 run lead. That was the reason for my outburst of taking Lynn out.

I would have also pinch hit Anderson for Leury with men in scoring position. Eaton hitting second is inexplicable. Yermin hit the ball hard in the first inning but right at the LF, was bad luck. He sucked the rest of the way.

Agree. Our big boppers got exposed today on the slider low and out of the zone. Sometimes we just need to make contact and not swing for a homer. I have been arguing for the hit and run for many days as Sox kept hitting into more double plays or wasting outs with the bunt. Hit and run also has the advantage of opening holes in the infield.
