  1. Eloy seems to be pretty reckless at LF running into the wall often.
  2. It’s just his handicap. He is giving the Rays a stroke, and upsetting Sox fans with the dreaded leadoff walk with a 3 run lead in the process.
  3. Yoan already had a bad case of COVID last year.
  4. What happened with Moncada?
  5. Hope Sox strength and conditioning program gets a thorough review. Stretching routines before games reviewed and modified as needed.
  6. Leury has been hitting the ball better lately. He has value as switch hitter and flexible positions. With Madrigal out we need him even more. Keep the guy.
  7. Bummer can be a bummer often.
  8. I presume you mean that Jason is the new Chris Berman. He cannot be Berman’s grandson, he was born in 1983!
  9. Ump wanted to go back to his hotel. Too wet and too long of a game.
  10. He was a football star as well.
  11. And Lynn is the strongest of them all...
  12. Should have let Lynn pitch the8th and get the game to Hendriks.
  13. He had to be helped off the field and could not put any weight on his leg. That looked much more serious than “soreness”.
  14. Yes indeed. Bad defense with 4 errors and Bummer being a Bummer did us in tonight. Too bad about Madrigal. Hope the Sox have a good conditioning/stretching program in place. Too many injuries.
  15. Agree. Starting pitching is actually great and that is key in the playoffs. Just got to get the games to Hendriks, bypassing as much as possible the weak links in the bullpen.
  16. Don’t know the ump’s name, but I am sure it was not Angel Hernandez.
  17. Tony is big on lefty righty match ups. Also Engel was not swinging well tonight.
  18. This was probably the best game of the year. I am glad I didn’t have to complain about TLR moves on this one. Clutch pitching and hitting.
  19. He wants to enjoy it while he can before MLB crackdown on foreign substance coming on later this month.
  20. Knowing TLR he will probably play Leury against at least some righties so-he can hit from the left side. TLR is very orthodox old school lefty vs righty.
  21. Very disappointing. Thought my suffering with Sox manager decisions had stopped after Ventura and Ricky, but alas here come TLR even more exasperating!
  22. He then better get some bunting drills going. Wedonthave many good bunters in the team.
  23. Awful rally killer. We are better off if TLR stays out of in game management and let his bench and pitching coaches manage the game. He can take a nap whilethisisgoing on.
  24. We sure could have used that extra out from bunting. Moncada would have been at the plate now instead of the game being over with a loss.
