Eloy at DH. interesting. Leury in RF and Mendick at 2B shows how badly RH better be on the phone right now. that bottom 7-9 is gross.

When Robert comes back, and when Yaz comes back, and we get a 2nd baseman:  out-of-the line-up are Zavala, Mendick, and Garcia.

Then the weakest spot is the Engel/Sheets in RF

Which yea, isn't really even a weakness.  Most teams would be just fine with that combo, and most teams won't have 8 other guys as good as the Sox.

Mendick and Zavala is an automatic 0-8

it makes me miss Madrigal but yea, it's nice.  Imagine having another 320 hitter in the lineup instead of Leury or Mendick or whatever 1.5 WARish rental they get.

Not really...but any production is a surprise.  On the other hand...both guys are very good defensively.

we could be the fucking twins, they got hammered 17-14 today to fall to 17 under .500.  I will not take these winning seasons for granted that's for sure.
