I will say, I miss Farmio and DJ. I loved the banter and the way they would take the piss out of each other. Also thought Farmio was excellent at taking us into the mind of a pitcher.

This is a hot take but outside of the Kimbrel debacle, I actually thought TLR was really good with the the bullpen, especially in 2021. Some of those pitchers were never better than when they pitched under him. Actually felt he had a good feel for what exactly that starting pitching staff needed as well.

He was. My camp counselor growing up was cousins with Paul. CJ wasn't even a great hitter, definitely a defensive first catcher (one of the all time great defensive catchers IMO) but he had an insane year that year.

That's a good shout. But the landscape is different than 2000.

I think Davis deserves a crack at the rotation. Curious to see how much this blister has fucked him up. But if he can't get back on track, yes.

Tbh, the White Sox have a history of surprising pitching performances coming from unexpected players in this series. Nick Masset, Felix Diaz, Giolito in his historically bad year, etc.

We complained we had a manager managing by his gut instead of using new age analytics. We got a new age, analytics manager and we complain he goes by analytics too much.
