Than I showed him a picture of Lamb and he said that was the guy. I think Cole is surging right now but he's also prown to more disastrous starts than Lynn, especially against the Rays. To me, it's going to come down to how Cole pitches against the Rays. If he gets lit up, Lynn will win.

I don't know. If you take away that Cubs start it's 2.86. That basically came down to him making a really awful pitch to Wisdom. He seems to be laboring a bit more but before that Cubs start, you have that masterful start against the Blue Jays where he shut down one of the better offenses in the American League. I am glad they have the luxury to rest him right now, that's for sure. Rodon really is the only one I'm worried about.

Colome was not getting the job done at the beginning of the year and we would have had no patience for him.

Why is Lynn in jeopardy? His IL stint is fake. Yeah he's dinged up but if htis was a playoff race, he'd be pitching. Only one I'm concerned about is Rodon. I think the pain is from him not being used to throwing this many innings.

I got the feeling that if the Sox were in a division race, all three would be pitching. Sox have the luxury to let them rest.

ReyLo pitched well against them last time out. So did Keuchel. Hopefully he finds it against a scuffling team

I took what he was saying as less so blaming any one person but rather a commentary on baseball today that outfielders play way too deep. At least that is what I got from reading the quote. I think he's right. The only time outfielders come in at all is if a man is on 3rd. I think his point was that if he gives up a deep fly ball, it's gone anyways so outfielder wouldn't have much to lose by playing in.
