  1. I think unless, he actually threw his belt at an ump, he won't be suspended. I gather he was pissed at being asked to go back out and do an additional check. I've seen him comply with checks before just fine.
  2. All I gotta say about the Big Bastard is Go off king. He makes me proud.
  3. If Eloy can get better at LF and not hurt himself, I don't have a problem with him being in LF. Eventually would like to see him transition to 1st though.
  4. The way we have handled Crochet is similar to the way Sale was handled. Sale was actually used as a closer in his rookie season.
  5. He definitely had a bad game Sunday. That being said, he's made some pretty incredible plays in the field that I'm not sure Madrigal would have made. And there were some very routine plays that Madrigal botched. I think Madrigal is a fine player. Potentially an All Star. He also has a very low ceiling. Cesar is better this year and it's possible the White Sox sign a 2nd Baseman in the off season because it's a very deep market for 2nd Baseman.
  6. Has Nick won a Gold Glove? Cesar is a Gold Glove winner. Does Cesar run us out of innings? NIck ran us out of innings how many times these past two years? I think Nick was going to eventually learn but I don't think we had the patience to go on that ride with him. Right now, Cesar hits for power more, he has the same base stealing ability, he's a better defender, and he just has much higher baseball IQ. Right now and for the next few years, he's a better player. Heuer may be a very good releiver. Or he might be a bust. Kimbrel is a hall of famer pitching at the height of his powers.
  7. * Hall of fame closer. Heuer got his first save tonight but we honestly have no idea what he will amount to. And Madrigal's ceiling is kind of low. Like I said, Cesar will be a better player in the immediate future.
  8. Anyone who references this masterpiece gets a like from me.
  9. Thank god. Watching that was very scary. Curious what this means for him? I'm assuming he's done for the year but that's probably not as important as his longterm health. Glad there was no concussion other.
  10. Yes. I think he's the future Right Fielder. Probably something he'll perfect in the off-season.
  11. Got out of a broadway play and looked at the score and was like "Holy crap, Rey Lo pitched five scoreless and scored 8 runs, Climate change has been solved!"

  13. Given his kid's health condition (probably one of the reasons he was one of the very few Cubs players who got the vaccine), he might think it's important that the option is picked up. I'm sure moving to a new city given that situation might not be easy.
  14. Assumed he was gone for the year. Interesting. I don't know where he fits.
  15. https://www.yahoo.com/news/adam-eaton-designated-assignment-halos-185812805.html lol
  16. He has to go on a run. His disadvantage is that he's not going to get to 20 wins and that he's had some embarrassing clunkers.
  17. It's basically like me going to CityMD (Urgent care) and saying, "Hey I don't feel good, write me a note"
  18. Lol. You say this but according to ESPN, Hendriks is still far and away the clubhouse leader in their Cy Young predictions
  19. Does there actually need to be a documented medical reason to send someone to the IL?
  20. I think they were near the end of their run on that team anyways. I think a rebuild was necessary. But yeah, I see your point.
  21. Oh yeah. I think Ruiz in the future could be pretty valuable. Just not sure right now. He's still figuring it out though.
