His biggest issue is trying to be a new age guru with the bullpen. Name Taylor your closer and Hicks your set up man. Hicks had what it takes to be a high leverage set up man. We would stop getting ourselves into this situation.

Managers don't do much these days besides following what some nerd on a spreadsheet put down. It's mostly about handling a bullpen well (I think he's much more competent at this then Renteria) and man management.

Anyone think Hicks could be our closer next year if we move Taylor to the rotation?
