Good for Jose. I love Jose. Brandon Allen has 3 hrs already? Bad bad trade KW.
  2. Keep playing kotsay is all I can say. He's our good luck vs. his former team. Cmon Oz. Keep it up.
  3. Cmon Gavin; cmon Oz, play Kotsay again. Cmon Kotsay if you do play, do some more damage.
  4. Freddy certainly isn't afraid to bring it. Got to respect his demeanor on the mound.
  5. I think he got two hits tonight, which is a start. He's another guy who passes the "look test." He looks good in a uniform.
  6. It'd be nice to get even with the Bosox after what they did to us. It's funny. We went 3-4 in our recent home and home with NY and we're 2-3 with Boston, but the timing of the road losses basically killed our season. Not horrid records against the teams, but the timing of the losing doomed us. Play Kotsay! This series at least.
  7. Getz seems OK to me. No hate from him here. I think he's better than Nix. Don't know where you come up with the fact that Nix is so much better it isn't even close. I'd take Getz over Nix.
  8. Good to kill Boston in Game One. If there are a lot of Red Sox fans in the Cell, this completely shut em up for the first night.
  9. I heard that Jorge. That was interesting to hear.
  10. Flowers looks good up there. Looks good in a suit as they say. Glad to see he'll gain some experience this month.
  11. He didn't? Jeez. You are a tough cookie. He just wasn't very good. He gave us some good moments like his catch versus the Twins. Might as well cheer him. It's a class act by our crowd!!!
  12. We're winning so big ... he tried hard with the Sox ... just didn't work out. Might as well cheer him. It's called "class" by our fans. WE need more class in sports today. .... Seriously.
  13. It's funny how some nights we get the pitching and hitting and look like playoff team. Others like that road trip we just suck. I guess that's the definition of a .500 team. But we are so Jeckyll/Hyde it's amazing.
  14. Yes, but I hope that bench guy plays every game this series cause he wants to beat his former team bad I bet ya.
  15. That was reminiscent of former Sox ss Alan Bannister back in the day. Lexi throws it away.
  16. Pods really is or has become a fine hitter. Way to wait on that slop. Nice hit.
  17. Please play Kotsay every game this series!!! He is on the ball and wants to beat his former team!
  18. I will buy Sox season tickets even though I can' t make but a game or two.
  19. Altogehter now, chant and clap "bring him back ... bring him back ... bring him back"
  20. Is Kotsay a decent rightfielder?
  21. We're missing a lefty stick vs. Byrd w/out Thome. Wonder if Oz will go with Wise in rf again and Pods in center? With Dye at DH. If Oz sits Rios again I bet KW will start to get steamed. Playing lefty Wise two days in a row might anger some fans at the Cell.
  22. Nobody ever comments on my posts so I didn't know I got my point across. Sorry Squert, my bad.
  23. Fair point. When next season starts, I'm sure I'll shut up about Rios and give him until late May to prove he can or cannot be better than Swisher. The reason I currently am down on Rios is I expected to win the s***ty Central this season and I bought into the argument Rios and Peavy would be the keys and might even propel us to the WS. The common perception was if we could keep it close and win the Central even (we were 2 out just a couple weeks ago) our rotation would be murder in the playoffs and we could rely more on just Thornton and Carrasco and not those other bullpen hacks. we were a team allegedly set up to make a strong postseason run with that Peavy and Mark-led rotation and a real center fielder finally. Rios provided no spark, so as a fan yes I am overblaming him. I also was down on Beckham when he got off to the lousy start, but I for the most part shut up, waiting since he's so young. He's rebounded nicely. Rios ... I expected him to be the missing key and indeed there were several games that we were in, where he made KEY OUTS where I happened to be watching. On Wise, this year despite being buried by many many fans, he's given me 3 good moments. THE CATCH, the hit versus the Yankees and even yesterday throwing the Cub out at the plate. Yes it was a shallow fly, but again that was a key play. I like Wise; don't like Rios right now. I'll force myself to try to shut up on Rios and wait until next Memorial Day to bury or praise him.
  24. Alex Rios ... you are no Chet Lemon.
