  1. Yessir. 100% of the time you bunt and don't take the bunt off even with 2 strikes. You want fundamental baseball, go check out David Bell & the Cincinnati Reds. They would've bunted, it would've been 2nd & 3rd and 1 out. Reds hitters would've been looking fastball knowing pitcher/catcher wouldn't want a wild pitch. It's style of play. The White Sox are absolutely horrendous fundamentally to the point they don't even care. It's one thing to make it to the big leagues, it's another to be humbled and constantly work on improving fundamentals. I'm done with this organization as I feel as if fundamental baseball isn't in the cards for decades. It's one thing to be a fan of a team, and another to be a good fan of fundamental baseball
  2. I can't tell you the number of times I just wanted to get banned from this site to end my Sox fandom. Please Jason nuke my account!!
  3. Will we lead the majors in losses next year?
  4. We should all be rich betting against this team.
  5. We should've bunted with 1st & 2nd with no outs in the 10th...wtf? Sox forgot winning baseball
  6. Why no bunt with no outs?
  7. Lopez has the stuff. He has been misused his entire career as a Sox. He has always done what they asked of him. Our catchers need to get Reylo to go up/down inside/out better imo. I feel for him honestly.
  8. We need a team hypnotist badly
  9. Today's game and atmosphere reminds me when I was 10 years old and would see my Dad kicked back in the recliner asleep with the chair right in front of the TV. The Sox were always competitive back in the Harry & Jimmy and Harrelson & Drysdale days. Now I know how my Dad felt trying to stay awake...
  10. So where will Lynn end up?
  11. Grandal, TLR, Joe Kelly were all wtf moments when I first heard. If they would've rang me up I would've definitely said HELL NO.
  12. Life or death for the older diehards. Another decade? That's 10 more years. I have gotten angry enough to f*** this s%*# and just go find good baseball elsewhere, this year it's the Reds. I'm realizing it's more fun to start every professional sports season as an armchair fan. I watch with no bias and then start to jump on the UNDERDOG teams that play the sport with youth, enthusiasm, charisma, grit and a team desire to win. And even if that doesn't happen they gave it there all mentally & physically.
  13. When I was a kid I couldn't wait to listen to all the pregame & post game radio shows and tune in to each game. Double headers were always a dream come true. The drama of rain delays before or after it was an official game. Nancy Faust pounding the organ at old Comiskey. And now just about as low as it gets as a diehard fan. This team absolutely sucks in every aspect of baseball. The worst part is I can't rid myself of this.
  14. This forum needs a drunk poster. Why does it seem everyone is sober?
  15. It's clearly time to cut bait now. Can't wait to see the trades. I keep coming back for dumb fucking s%*# over and over...
  16. Imo our catchers are terrible at understanding pitch selection and location. Kinda like our hitters swinging at so many bad balls
  17. Im the only one who likes Reylo? He needs a catcher that can reel him in imo.
  18. It's the ghost of Aaron Rowand if you ask me. He was the heart & soul of 2005. We dumped him Thanksgiving week if I remember correctly during the off-season. Kinda like when Bears won Superbowl and we don't resign Wilbur Marshall.
