  1. Meche is working at a Buehrle pace. We need to break up the rhythm.
  2. Freddy with 7 in a row retired. Time for the bats to awaken.
  3. Reed hitting .216 on the young season.
  4. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 03:39 PM) park looks full, is it Dog day? Yeap. Finally get Ichiro out.
  5. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 03:38 PM) .............and looking like s*** at the plate and shaky on the hill. Are you pessimistic by nature or just when it comes to the Sox?
  6. Going to the 3rd trailing 2-0.
  7. Let's see if Crede can continue the hot streak.
  8. Rowand having a solid at bat here.
  9. Garcia still needs to hit the corners more effectively and keep the ball down. The ball hit to center just missed being gone.
  10. With it being so early in the game, I'm not too concerned with the 2-0 deficit. Although it's nice to get out to an early lead, it's not always going to be possible.
  11. I didn't have a problem with the Sac Bunt, especially with our two best RBI men looming.
  12. I don't know about for the rest of you, but the quality of the picture on CSN is 100 times better than FSN was for me in the past. Of course I'm getting the feed over DirecTV so that could have something to do with it.
  13. Good sac bunt by Iguchi. Let's go Carl.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 03:12 PM) What has happened to Garcia's stuff? Even last start, his fastball seemed a lot slower than in seasons past, and he's not throwing his splitter/changeup like he did last season. Just compare the stuff he has now to the first start he made for the Sox vs the Twins last year. There's no comparison. To me he's always been one of those guys who gets better as the game goes on. Let's hope the same holds true with this start today but he just left the pitch to Ibanez up and out over the plate. If he wants to pitch well consistently at home (and this goes for all of our starters) you have to work the corners and keep the ball down.
  15. Hopefully we can score some runs today. 2-0 going to the bottom of the 1st.
  16. Freddy looking terrible with his pitches. 2-0 Seattle lead on an Ibanez homer.
  17. Good throw by AJ, Reed gone at 2nd.
  18. Indians lead 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th.
  19. Update: Cleveland and Minnesota tied 1-1 in the Bottom of the 8th.

QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 02:17 PM) Im sorry... but this statement is just WRONG. besides Sox, Bulls.... the rest of CSN's broadcast schedule is horrible. Sportsnite, Chicago Tribune Live.... all just brutal... they need better personalities on those shows. I agree Chicago Tribune life is horrible as is Sports Nite and Sox Pre and Post.

The Yankees flat out suck right now yet they still find themselves on the front of ESPN.com as of a few hours ago. This kind of sums up the coverage ESPN gives them. They cover them regardless of anything else. The Sox could be 11-0 and they'd still be on the Yankees jock. I've learned to just ignore ESPN and basically just watch them for the highlights and PTI.

  23. Can you please explain why you felt inclined to start a thread on this? If not, I'm going to merge it with another Crede thread.
