  1. Colon will be on Boston, NY or possibly the Padres, who are looking to spend big this offseason, next year. I don't see us resigning him, as we won't be able to offer the package required. In terms of the importance of resigning him, I think with Loaiza, Buehrle and Garland we have a solid 3 for next season. I expect Cotts to get a shot at the rotation, as well as our other minor leaguers (Rauch, Diaz). The other starter will probably be a FA signing, which could be either a big name or just a 5th starter. If the Sox decide to ante up to Mags this offseason and try to keep him long term instead of waiting until after 2004, I don't see them signing a big name FA pitcher. Here are my top priorities this offseason if I'm KW: 1) Resign Alomar to a 2 or 3 year deal at around $3 million per season. 2) Sign Magglio Ordonez to a long-term deal. 3) Offer Mark Buehrle a 4 year deal, which would add an additional year onto the 3 we already have him for after next season. 4) Look for another starting pitcher to take the place of Colon, who likely (IMO) won't be coming back to town next season. 5) Acquire a centerfielder who can actually field the position and hit as well.
  2. i'll be watching on NESN, since that's the only way I can get it on my MLB Extra Innings package.
  3. You must be really bored when you come up with these posts.
  4. The Irish have no shot, they are getting steamrolled. NC State and Ohio St was a classic game, too bad the Wolfpack didn't come out on top.
  5. Then it would be nice if they took two out of three. I think they'd be stupid to pitch Milton this season, but that's just me. They should at least let him throw out of the pen a few times before starting him, but let's hope he's not very sharp if he does indeed start.
  6. Cleveland wins 4-3. Let's hope they can take one more of the next two. Looks like we're gonna need it.
  7. 1) White Sox 2) White Sox 3) Three 4) Carlos Lee 5) Ten 6) 112 7) Damaso Marte 8) Yes 9) Minnesota 10) Magglio Tiebreaker: 22
  8. The processing fee goes to TM, the money for tickets goes to MLB. You get the money for the tickets back if the Sox don't make the playoffs, you don't get the TM charge.
  9. So Ticketmaster can collect their processing fees, which, by the way if the Sox don't make the playoffs, you don't get back.
  10. That's too bad, perhaps the Twins could have delivered the final KO. Now we may be forced to see him again.
  11. Manuel is an idiot. He truly is. Can someone please explain his logic? The other night he uses Jose P, instead of keeping in Schoney or Sully. Now he puts in Koch and pulls him for Schoney. Does this guy make any sense? :fyou JM
  12. What scares me about this outing from Koch is that is might actually give JM the confidence to use him in a critical situation....
  13. So in one fail swoop, we're gonna see a midget and Billy Botch. So much for winning this game....
  14. He's already playing, perhaps logic would say to put in Konerko, but what do I know.
  15. That would make too much sense, therefore I don't expect it to occur.
  16. LOL, sorry to offend you my friend. If you haven't noticed, I will rip everyone if they deserved it. In that case "your boy" didn't get the job done, like it or not.
  17. What was your question, I have the TV on but I don't listen to the announcers, I only listen to Roons and Farmio.
