I'm gonna say Cotts...

What's happening to you man? Nobody can not agree with you? Loaiza is pitching better than Halladay, if give more offense for Loaiza in the beginning of the year he would have a similar record. Stop with this f*** you, just because somebody doesnt agree... And nobody is saying bad about MB, i know he is your passion. Sorry Raffy, didn't mean to be an ass... OK I ADMIT LOAIZA IS HAVING A BETTER SEASON, I JUST WOULDN'T TAKE HIM OVER THOSE GUYS IN A BIG GAME, THAT'S ALL... Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect it as well... Hudson, Zito, Mulder...aren't those the same guys that had the Yankees down 2-0 in a 5 game series and BLEW it? And you're talking as if they blew it against the Royals. Don't take anything away from them, hell the Sox may even be lucky enough to have one of them someday...

Nothing personal Jordan, all in good fun. You gave me the LMAO and I gave ya the finger.... Anyway,
-
Save the drama for your grandmama....I didn't try and turn this into a personal thing. My point is as far as 2003 goes the White Sox might have the best rotation in baseball. That is if we get a 5th starter as well... I agree with ya on the 2003 part, but I still don't think Loaiza is better than those guys. He may be having a better season though. As far as oldroman or whatever his name goes, no comment.
-
If you would seriously take him over Hudson, Zito or Mulder (all perennial all-stars with postseason experience) then you must be drunk. BTW, no one gives me a LMAO without getting something in return. So here's to you and your so-called baseball knowledge... :fyou :fyou :fyou

He hasn't been better than Roy Halladay, he won't win the Cy Young and I wouldn't take him over Hudson, Zito or Mulder.
-
For one, none of our SP's are better than Zito, Hudson or Mulder. All are perennial all-stars. Nothing against our guys, just stating the facts. Secondly, Rich Harden is going to be just as good if not better than Garland right now. This really isn't up for discussion IMO.
-
Don't count on that my friend, even if all of our guys pitch their best we aren't equipped with a better staff than Oakland...
-
I never doubted our ACE to begin with...
-
Someone in a pennant race will take him, trust me. And the return won't be bad either.
-
Don't worry, he'll be gone soon enough and helping someone else give up homers to chumps like Berroa.
-
I don't think it's a cancer, he was just a fan of the Cardinals growing up and still roots for them. There's nothing wrong with that unless we're playing the Cards. However, saying he wants to go to the Cards is a whole different story...

abozichiu, I have a question after reading your MB sig at the bottom of your posts...the Sox drafted Mark when he was 10 years old? "Born 1979....drafted 1989". I've noticed it too, it's an error on his player profile on Yahoo!, which is where that profile is taken from.
-
Perhaps trading him in the 2006 season would make sense if we can't sign him, but right now we've still got him for at least 3 more full seasons.
-
Since we all know I'm bigtime into keeping Mark Buehrle around with the Sox for the long term, I'm interested what everyone thinks about the prospect of the Sox being able to keep him long term despite the setbacks that occured this past offseason. Anyone with any inside type knowledge or a good insight, lemme know what you think. I'd like to think we can keep Buehrle long term, but so far it certainly doesn't seem like that's going to happen.

wait a minute here, you are talking about williamson, 27 a right hander 26 saves, a whip of 1.3+ and 1.5 mil a yr sullivan a right hander who is a long rp 6 wins 0 loses 1 bs a whip of 1.3+ 2.8 mil white, a lefty 3 wins 0 loses 0 bs whip of 1.22 and you are worried about losing a lefty in the deal. these guys are pitching now and with some success on the major league level now. in addition they can help us in the next couple of yrs. where those pitchers you mention may be a couple of yrs away if they develop. I agree about not giving up lefties. Why would we want to take on those salaries if we have to give up good prospects. That's not how it works these days. If we're going to take the salaries, they're not going to get good prospects.

I guess you haven't been watching many games this season. Koch isn't having a bad year, he's having a TERRIBLE year. In fact, he hasn't even been close to respectable at all this season. Case in point, he's lost 8 MPH on his velocity, which greatly hurts his out pitch which is his fastball. He really doesn't have anything off speed that can get hitters out and his fastball has been straight with no movement all season. I'd say that pretty much sums up Koch's season: TERRIBLE.

I bet he'd make Bartolo look like a dwarf...

Why would you want to trade Konerko period? He is finally starting to come around.

Thanks for the read, I enjoyed it.
