  1. Anytime Mark Buehrle pitches, it's worth the price of admission. Since the game isn't on MLB extra innings because of WCIU, I'll be stuck listening to Roons and Farmio on ESPN 1000, which to me is better than having to listen to Hawk and D.J. Let's go Mark.
  2. 1) Sox 2) No 3) Three 4) Two 5) Five 6) 87 7) Ordonez 8) Yes 9) Oakland 10) Yes Tiebreaker: .278
  3. Good, now we get to see him blow games to help the Cubs get back into contention. Talk about the worst possible scenario, this is it.
  4. Yea it is bad, but the worst part is they actually swept us in a series.

    Neal Cotts

Rex, Danny was getting away with a lot of stuff in those five innings. He was constantlt falling behind the hitters, and a couple of outs were just line shots right at a player. Gotcha........... sounds like you very well may see Cotts on the 12th then I'd have to agree with that move if it was made. Let's remember back to 2000, when Mark Buehrle was called up from Birmingham and took off from there. Perhaps we could see the same thing with Neal, they've gotta give him a shot.
  6. Pauly gets the nod on MLB.com. Gotta love it.
  7. I'd agree and if Wright doesn't fare well in this start, give Cotts the nod next time.
  8. I'll take a 4 run first anyday. Let's go Bart.
  9. Someone call the Seattle fire department, Konerko is en fuego.

  11. I don't think they'd put Giles on waivers, simply because someone would claim him and take him and the Pirates would still be stuck with Kendall.
  12. http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/index.ssf?...14734123680.xml "Drew Henson hasn't developed to the point where he's really in consideration at this time for the major-league side," Cashman said. "The move on Aaron Boone speaks volumes about where Drew Henson is in terms of his development at this time." In other words, the Yankees are disappointed with the progress of Henson, who has struggled with the strike zone and on defense throughout his minor-league career. The Yankees owe Henson $12 million more for the three seasons after this one, and yesterday it sounded as if they wouldn't mind if he quit and went back to football so they didn't have to pay him. --------------------------------------------- What a sad story for the Yanks. Hopefully you sense my sarcasm.
  13. It's too bad you aren't manager, I'm sure JM will find a way of mishandling this.
  14. So basically, against dormant offenses with big leads.
