Since Foulke was my favorite Sox pitcher until he was traded, I'm still kinda bitter about this deal. Look at his numbers this year, kinda makes me sick to my stomach that we gave him up for Billy Botch. 3-0 record, 15 saves, 30.2 innings pitched, 33 strikeouts, 2.64 era, 6 BB, 0.91 WHIP Based on my calculations, statistically there are only two better closers in baseball than Keith right now and they'd be Gagne and Smoltz. I still cheer for Keith, even though he is no longer with us. Glad to see him dominating once again.

1993 and 2000 were my two favorites until the playoffs when we were handled by Toronto and Seattle respectively. If I had to pick one or the other, I'd go with 2000 because Buehrle was on that team starting in July and he is my favorite Sox pitcher to date. In fact I was at Commiskey for his debut when he threw one inning.

He could be hiding an injury or just going through a terrible slump. The later is probably most likely. You probably picked Konerko pretty high, so don't cut ties with him. He could find his swing and breakout in a big way. Just stick him on your bench and hope for the best. Another possibility is a trade. Don't just give him away, though.
