YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARRRRRRRRD............YES!!!!! Series tied at 2! A-Gon!!!
-
ya i agree that was a bit on the dumb side....but the rest of the episode was just classic
-
strike 3 to bernie, inning over oh wait, i forgot, they're the Yankee$...Ball 1. :fyou
-
omg, Braden Looper of all people somehow got out of that. Weaver now in, GO MARLINS. C'mon Conine and Lowell!!!
-
bases loaded 1 out and a mistake by bringing in Looper. Hopefully, somehow, the Marlins can get out of this, but you know any close play and the runner is safe.
-
Yankee$ have runner on second no outs, matsui up. Why they are pitching to Matsui is beyond me
-
i hate to blame umpires but, they are the reason its tied. Matsui was so clearly out in the 2nd yet called safe. He ended up scoring on a sac fly that SHOULD have been out #3. Plus remember Gaimbi's foot coming off the bag yet Castillo called out. two batters later Cabrera homers. 2 run swing. Then in the Sierra AB, the first 2 pitches were called balls. But strikes 1 and 2 were the EXACT same pitch. The umpiring has been sickening. Its been so skewed towards the Yankee$ this series its pathetic.
-
and thanks to the umpires, we're all tied!
-
3-2 pitch coming (and more bad strike calling in this AB)

the west has about 10 quality teams, whereas the East has about 4 -
umping has once again screwed the Marlins tonight. Even this 9th inning, the strike zone has not been what it was for Clemens
-
lol ya, that was a good start to the new season
-
West Virgina wins!!! FSU up to 4th with a win!

i see this too Go WVU! FSU needs 3 teams to drop in the BCS rankings

i dont see them moving Nick Johnson. And if they do NOT move him, then how does Bernie play DH? Giambi will DH as Johnson plays 1B. So, basically it will come down to Castillo or Johnson, not both.
-
i see many flaws in those predictions. 1) they expect the Cubs to pay for hawkins AND Lopez? They already have a high salary, how mcuh are they gonna spend? 2) i really dont see the Sox signing Gordon at what he'll want and probably get somewhere 3) i dont know if even the Yankee$ would add the 25 million plus it would take to keep Pettite and sign Sheffield and Castillo. Plus if the sign Castillo where does Soriano play? CF? They Yankee$ wont just let Bernie go like that. 4) Pudge has recently said that he wants to return to Florida. The Marlins will only lose Castillo, Urbina and Fox this year. They have a few prospects and will be getting Burnett back. That gives Pudge incentive to come back based on this years performance of the team AND it will free up the Marlins to be able to afford Pudge. 5) since when do the Oriolels have the money to reel in Pudge AND Vlad? 6) i see tejada going somewhere like LA, or SF, or Baltimore before Anaheim. I just dont see the Angels giving him that kind of a contract
-
no question Castillo would be a great signing. Castill looked as bad as i've ever seen anyone look last night, but that was an abberration. This guy is a very good contact hitter who doesnt strike out much. And the speed, OBP, everything would be great. Castillo would be an amazing signing, imo
-
actually no, i have to disagree with you. If we are at the point where we'd have to sign Chris Singleton, i would rather just have one of or a combo of Rowand/Reed/Borchard in CF. The production should be about the same, if not better, and we'd be developing a young player who could be there for years to come. In my opinion, signing Singleton would be a waste
-
i would highly, highly doubt we even come close to signing Tejada
-
here's Britney
-
well no, but it gets worse and worse as each year goes on i pray that Guerrero finds a new home other than NY next year
-
that would make me sick, seeing the Yankoee$ overpay for yet another player
-
thanks. I just recently (finally, heh) joined. The ESPN board is dead in the off season so i'll probably post more here now. And as i have recently seen, Spaniard is back to his old self....and also back on the espn board
