his style is what we need, but with this team, it wouldnt work. And you dont want a guy who players have openly said they dont want, for whatever the reason(s) may be. It just wouldnt be a good mixture
-
wait, so Riley just quit? I wonder what made him snap
-
Wally Backman is not what we need. Our players do not respond well to people like him and several have said specifically that they do not want him as our manager.So...

well i was trying to be at least semi-realistic i mean in an ideal world we'd sign Vlad Guerrero, move Maggs to left and Lee to DH, and sign Castillo and Mastui for the infield, lol
-
no the wishful thinking was the signing of Castillo, Reed being ready for a starting spot, and Thomas and Ordonez being swapped in the order
-
Castillo Reed Ordonez Thomas Lee Crede Konerko Valentin Olivo probably just wishful thinking...
-
Ozzie Guillen or Cito Gaston most likely
-
awww no one to UCONN well looks like Okafor, Gordon, Villaneuva and crew will need to win it this year
-
what about batting Lee fifth, but switch Maggs and Thomas. If Frank keeps that 40+ HR swing (which is all but guaranteed) why not bat him 4th? Maggs will hit .310+ again and odds are, that it will lead to Thomas getting more AB's with runners on. Thomas wants to bat 3rd, but i doubt he'd object to a swap with Ordonez (after all, he could probably pad his RBI stats, lol )

Who's behind her??? She looks f***ing Hot! hmm, based on the visible letters on her sash i'd have to go with Miss Antigua & Barbuda

Anyone see that on Sportscenter? It was funny, Beckett wouldnt really give a straight answer as to if he was starting. Then he said if he did know he wouldnt tell them, but he may know, but again, he wouldnt tell them if he did. Does he have ambitions to be a politician in his post-baseball career, heh?
-
haha, how 'bout a Miss Iraq now?
-
we should start a thread with funny/stupid real life signs or advertisements, cuz i've got a bunch of those that are just hilarious
-
No, Livingston is better than Telfair. Telfair is great don't get me wrong but part of the reason he has the hype he does is due to the fact he is from New York. Livingston is pretty much the consensus #1 player in this class according to most recruiting analysts. oh ok, i dont follow high school ball much, i wait till they get to college, so i didnt know, thanks
-
this also is a funny ad that i found a while back
-
another Britney and Madonna
-
i just hope he doesnt choose Duke but by the way, isnt Telfair thought of as the best High Scholler right now?
-
omg! Williams flies out to the track almost 400 feet away. PHEW! Now Lee with a PHENOMENAL play! marlins win 6-4! Lead 3-2! Go Florida, woot!
-
Bring in Beckett! lol
-
Enrique Wilson doubles, Jeter scores. 6-4 Marlins, Looper out, Urbina coming in. Oh geez, come on Marlins, you MUST win this game to have a chance in this series
-
Giambi homered. 6-3 Marlins, 1 out

This homework you speak of? I must say I have some blow off classes. It will comeback to hurt me eventually, but I wouldn't do good if I didn't. Heh, here's my High School schedule as of now: 1 - Jewelry 2 - PE II: Basketball 3 - Study Hall 4 - Lunch 5/6 - Pre-Calculus 7/8 - AP German V 9 - Psychology 10 - IB/AP Economics Everything except German and Econ is cake, with Psych giving me s***loads of busy work. And then, my impending doom known as 2nd semester: 1 - Study Hall 2 - Honors Contemporary Literature 3 - Sociology 4 - Lunch 5/6 - Pre-Calculus 7/8 - AP German V 9 - AP Government 10 - IB/AP Economics Three AP classes to end the day, hoo-f***ing-ray. At least my GPA will shoot through the f***ing roof. Pre-calc huh? I struggled in that but i took calculus twice and now i'm way past that. Sucks the first time tho that stuff is introduced. But jewelry? What do you do in that kind of class? Since u've taken Calc twice I'm assuming your in college. Have you even used that s*** in any of your classes? I'm a bus major (Acct Focus) and I'm in my 3rd year and I've yet to do anything that even uses anything other then basic math. ya i'm a junior in college. I'm a Statistics major so ya i've used it a lot. A lot of what you learn in Calc II can be and is applied to a lot of life situations. Ive taken Calc I thru Calc III, now i'm taking Discrete (which isnt very hard) and a class called Math Theory of Probablility and Statistical Inference (which absolutely sucks!)
