There is a little hypocrisy going on here right now. Many times when people post a news item, with no link, many people will complain that there is no link. But now somebody asks Steff for a link, and people jump down the throat. Steff has been wrong before, and I see nothing wrong with somebody asking if she has a link or source for all of us to look at.

How does it know what kind of beer it is pouring though? All types of beers need to be poured differently. You would never pour a Duvel by the same method as an imperial stout, as the Duvel would just go CRAZY with the head. The stout though, being a creature that has a small head to begin with, needs to be rocked a little more. Plus, Denver Pale Ale is a crazy little beer where the head just explodes out of nowhere. A Skull Splitter has no head. Pouring beer is a bit of an art. If we're talking about Bud, Miller, Coors, whatnot, then this thing might be fine. Let it roll, what's it matter? But in the micro and import world, no beers are the same.

The McRib is a wonderful little beast. I hope it isn't gone for good. Just in case though, I plan on buying a few dozen and freezing them along with Ted Williams head for the better of the future.

Fish? Anyways. I think high fives would be going around if it was an 80 year old of either sex getting a 21 year old of either sex. It gives us all a little hope in our twilight years by being still "active".

Good for the Card fans! Good for Rooney! I am happy that it was reported that the Sox want an ex-player to step in. That means it WON'T be North. I actually kind of (slightly) like North in small doses, but I could NOT imagine him calling a game.

I'm going to a party tomorrow that a bunch of the local Chicago Gods of Metal will be at and plan to bring that along with me. I saw it this morning and the first thing I thought of is what perfect timing it is.

Well, nowhere is there ever any proof that it is actually Godzilla's son. They named a movie that, sure, but there is much debate in the geek circles about that one. So, don't rack your brain over it for too long, as nobody really knows the answer, not even us uber-geeks. Plus, nobody but the kids and chicks like Minya...so don't bother.

I've met The Critic. His softball team came in first this year. That count? Oh, my wifes cousin is married to Roger Maris's nephew. I'm fairly close to the guy, and as a gift he brought me a ball signed by Pat and all of the Maris kids. He thought I would like it, so he asked them to sign it. It's kind of a unique critter I think, and it sits proudly on top of my computer here at work. I've only met authors and musicians. Hung out with Mother Love Bone all night once. If you know who they were, you understand why that was kind of cool. Two of them went on to become a slightly bigger band named Pearl Jam. Super cool guys, all of them.
