What’s the correlation between injury prone outfielders and red shoes?

Sox explore immense depth of their 7th place AAA team, make 11 transactions
Sox turned one first round pick into dfa’d Diekman and another for a guy who turned down millions to get off the team, Pollock. Well done Rick

Well we ended up with Diekman for him?

That’s not what JR meant. By a “good year”, he meant profitable rather than winning games

Sox explore immense depth of their 7th place AAA team, make 11 transactions
He has looked pretty disappointing in the outfield. I don’t know how much of a conclusion can be drawn from a guy’s first 75 mlb at bats though. Either way I am fairly confident he will be back in the lineup before the end of the year, after the impending fire sale gets going

Well, yeah. I’m just saying compared to other Sox contracts the Bummer deal was relatively reasonable compared to past performance. Whereas, Diekman was a bad move the moment it was made

Billy Hamilton Back
German was dfa’d and I believe they already had a spot open on 40 man. That transaction would have to have been done before adding anyone to it, if it were necessary

Sox explore immense depth of their 7th place AAA team, make 11 transactions
2019-2022 he had a 2.59 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 3.12 FiP. Diekman other than an extreme outlier shortened season has never even been on the same planet as Bummer

That’s debatable. He was a top 100 prospect a couple years ago. Just playing with effort would give him a leg up on some other players

Sox explore immense depth of their 7th place AAA team, make 11 transactions
Diekman is not even comparable to Bummer come on now. Aside from 2020 Diekman has always blown chunks

Sox explore immense depth of their 7th place AAA team, make 11 transactions
DFA’ing Diekman now instead of in march another typical Hahn stroke. Don’t know if a guy like Avila, for example, would’ve helped any, but we all knew Diekman wasn’t going to

Sox explore immense depth of their 7th place AAA team, make 11 transactions
They’re going to need Sosa, Colas and Romy getting regular reps so they are prepared to take the spots of the players dumped a month of two from now

So? The Sox are losing either way. Colas is the Sox only viable OF prospect. Either let him take his lumps or send him down. Can’t have the one legit prospect rotting on the vine

Yeah that team only finished 23 games out of first!

Any help in the minors
Montgomery, Ramos and maybe Rodriguez but they’re all 1-2 years away

Can you fool yourself into positivity?
No is saying the sky is falling. The sky already fell. The house already burned down. The train already went off the rails. Now the question is whether you blow the toxic chemicals to the sky, ship the runoff to Texas or just let it run downstream

Isn’t this why Rose is banned for life? I guess if the league does same thing it’s just hunky dory

Reinsdorf Quotes
I don’t get how this gambling issue isn’t a big deal. If you have a league and owners profiting from betting on games the league stages itself, and there are known variables the league has employed that manipulate game outcomes, then the math should not be hard to solve here. There is only one way this points

Reinsdorf Quotes
The last quote about gambling is shady as f***. What happened to baseball not being involved in gambling? This is corrupt as hell, particularly in light of the issue of different baseballs being used. Questionable umpiring with questionable ejections, etc
