Ehhh I hate the idea of being patient. Giants drafted another EDGE. That means Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux are both on the bench and might be traded. I'd be happy with either.

I would try and trade down. I feel like the difference in talent between 25(depending on if someone drops) is not that much different than say 35. Though falling to the end of the 1st would be more ideal to pick up the extra year of control.

No DL till the 3rd or possibly the 4th seems a little wild. I'd honestly rather double or even triple dip on DL with their first 4.

What's the deal with Budenholzer? I know he had the first round exit his last year with the Bucks but overall isn't he considered a good coach? No shot Thibs comes back right?

I meannn, he had no connections with AKME did he? They know Kerr so there's that as well.

My rose colored glasses have now become less rosey. Kerr is stepping down as GSW head coach too. Wonder if he would rather coach again or go to a front office gig again. Either way I think he'd be my top choice.....Kerr as head executive/GM and Luke Walton as HC....or maybeeee Kerrs kid but that could get dicey.

Austin Brown is super intriguing and I'm happy the Bulls are looking "Outside of the box." I put that quotes because the whole sports agent turned front office thing seems to have worked out in most cases. The before mentioned Bob Myers was an agent before becoming who he was with the Warriors.

I think thats fair. I just thought it'd be an interesting topic to talk about. I know around the trade deadline we were still talking about acquiring Giannis. That being said, I do think there's a path to relevancy pretty quickly if the do somehow get a top 4 pick and I would strongly consider trading 15 for a proven player....If the top 4 guys live up to the hype then them plus Giddey, Matas, and a pretty solid bench is probably a play in worthy team.

I could be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure the Bulls could absorb Giannis contract. Again I could be wrong here, but i also think they could hypothetically go over the 1st apron to resign let's say Simons or Sexton and Zach Collins. That gives you a starting lineup of Giddey-Simons/Sexton-Dybansta-Giannis-Collins with Jones as your 6th man, Jalen Smith as your primary backup big, Okoro as a defensive stopper off the bench, Miller as a seemingly emerging 3/4, andddd....Patrick Williams. PG- Giddey/Jones SG- Simons/Okoro SF- Dybansta/Williams PF- Giannis/Miller C- Collins/Smith

Let's pretend the Bulls do win the lottery. Hypothetically speaking, would you try to trade 15 and maybe even a future 1/some of the 2s for a proven player? Idk if I'd go all in on Giannis or not, but maybe a player like Michael Porter Jr or someone of similar stature. Or would that be a year too soon? Would you try for Giannis? How much would you give up? Would you give up Matas? Is Giddey-Giannis-Dybansta/Peterson a good enough "Big 3" to win a title?

Speaking of projections, it seems like after the top 6 or so, projections seem to be all over the board. Seems like it's a good thing. That 2nd round pick might bring back something of value as well.

I like Mara and lot, but I'd be a lot happier if he was the pick at 15. Bulls have needed a rim defender for years now and this would give them that. I know Matas has been a blocks machine but he still doesn't feel like a "Rim defender" to me.

What's kinda crazy is Deni was kinda trash the first 3 years and didn't become a star till his 6th year in the league. Had that timeline played out here fans would not be happy with him at 4 either.

This is true. You'd think at the highest level with the chance to make ridiculous sums of money, you would get it a guy who wants to consistently dominate buttttt.... I love Caleb Wilson, and I think he'd be a good fit for the team and Chicago could have some fun with the Caleb W and Caleb W stuff. I'd gladly take the 4th pick. I think my ideal situation would be getting Wilson at 4, the best scoring guard available at 15/16, and then Wilson's teammate Veesaar(?) at 36.

Suns are 1-9 in their last 10 while Portland is 11-5 over their last 16. Obviously it's 1 game and anything can happen but Portland has definitely been the hotter team.
