It's crazy talk, i know, but i really think they can be a playoff team. Assuming Powell's play doesn't fall off the cliff, he's the perfect fit at the 2. We've heard it before, but supposedly Williams is looking good in the off-season(whatever that means) too. I'm not counting on it, but there was a 2 year stretch where he shot 40% from 3...If you can get that again he has his place on this team. They have 9 mill left to use on new free agents....theoretically they could use that 9 mill and THEN resign Simons/Sexton IF they wanted..... They also have a few trade exceptions which can be used to go "Over the cap," one of those being nearly 18 mill.

Rumors out there that the Bulls are interested in John Collins. That'd be fun. I'm reading that Caleb definitely has the athleticism to guards 3s, and we've see Matas guard 2s, so a jumbo lineup that can jump out of the gym would be fascinating to watch..... PG- Josh Giddey 6'7" SG- Matas 6'8" SF- Caleb Wilson 6'10" PF- John Collins 6'9" C- Nic Claxton 6'11" ....probably not the route id go but id love to see it play out in a year you don't expect to win.

I can't believe the Bulls aren't bringing Olbrich back! Dude had a triple double in his last game! ~sarcasm Leonard Miller had his player option picked up which makes sense, i thought he played really well. He's definitely slappy too. A poor mans Caleb Wilson one might say.

Not a huge fan of the Swain pick, but ill let it breathe a bit. They really need 3 point shooting. Giddey goes on stretches where hes really good shooting the 3 and Matas flashes beyond the arc, but a ++ 3 point shooter would be real nice.....Sexton/Simons aren't really slappy from a size/length aspect but bringing one back for their 3 point shooting might be needed. Speaking of not slappy, i still really like Veesaar. He obviously can play with Wilson and having a stetch 5 out there at times with all the bouncey guys would help. Tobi Lawal would be fun if they just want allllll the bounce.... Hes shown some flashes of a 3 point shot in previous years. Super slappy.

In reference to low IQ, I think Carr as a primary ball handler would be a mistake.....As an off ball scorer though? I think hes one of the best off ball guards in the draft. .......No Shocker here, Caleb Wilson is a Chicago Bull.

Yeah, that group should be a lot fun together! Now throw in Carr who is also a high flyer and it's gonna be lob city in Chicago. Really hope they can bring Ayo back. I know thats not necessarily a "Rebuild" move, but this team looks real solid to me. Giddey/Jones Ayo/Carr Matas/Miller Wilson/Smith/Essengue Claxton/Smith/39 pick/free agent You got your floor general in Giddey surrounded but a buncha athletic rim runners, and you have one of the best 3 point shooters in the league in ayo to space the floor.

Love the Splitter hire. Over the last 52 games of the season Portland was at top 10 defense and they were one of the best teams in the league in 2nd chance points. I'm really excited about this off-season. Should be able to add 3 good pieces in the draft, and that 60 mill in cap space is gonna be super intriguing on how it gets spent.

Yeah, i dont see that based on the whole SLAP acronym thing.....He's more grindy than slappy. Lol. I'm still dreaming of the Wilson and Carr picks i said awhile ago.

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
All the beat reporters seem to think its not over either. I was born, raised, and lived in Hammond for 30 years and so my Facebookis blowing up with the news. I'm telling them to pump their brakes just a lil bit and I hope I dont look stupid. I'd say it's like 95% Indiana at this point but dont think it's over.

Yeahhhh in hindsight that offer sucks. I was trying to tie some things together. There's been the BYU coach report along with (probably false) reports about tge Bulls trying to trade up and the reports of the Bulls taking on salary. The thought would be to flip AD later for draft picks but nah, not worth it. Dybansta is probably not gonna be worth Wilson/Boozer plus 15 and whatever you get outta AD.

Bulls are interviewing BYU coach Kevin Young. Pretty interesting name when you consider the #1 player in the draft. Before going to BYU he asks associate head coach for the Suns who made it to the finals, so there's more than just the Dybansta connection. Would be pretty interesting if they go that route if they can trade up and get his guy. Wizards would very much like to get out of Anthony Davis contract and the Bulls can eat that whole contract..... Who says no... Wizards get- Pick #4 Pick #15 A million future 2s Bulls get- Pick #1 Anthony Davis

That's a bummer, he was my favorite candidate. I wonder if they were waiting around for a formal interview on him. Since he's still in the playoffs I believe they could only do zooms. Splitter is the guy who intrigues me the most but the fact that Portland is not bringing him back gives me concern. Portland was trash for years and Splitter got them in the playoffs. He won Gold as a head coach in a 23U league for Brazil and won a couple titles in France as a HC as well.....Deni didn't become an all star until this past year under him. I'd be happy with Nori, Quinn, or Kidd as well.

Trade Proposals
Maybe it's because i haven't watched much at all the last 2 years and haven't fully got to embrace his grindiness, but just looking at the back of the baseball card, Meidroth just seems "Okay." If Gonzalez keeps hitting like this come trade deadline time, I think it's worth a consideration.
