you got a point, but the atten did jump when the sox first made the trade to get colon, in addition if the sox gets hot, i do see a jump. chi is has been waiting for a winner esp the sox. i think they will come in droves for this.

what was his opening speech when they first introduce him to the press, what has he accomplished? how many games did he blew?

im not pickin on ya indy... just pointing out that botches supposed killer 100mhp ball hasnt hit that since he got here.. hell hes lucky to hit 95........ yes he is not as good as advertised....it was probably a dumb trade in hindsight...just keep a little faith... and if it does not work out .... f*** him and has he panned out? you got to come to terms to this trade. we lost and he has screw up more than he has helped.

you miss the point of the trade, it was to improve the team this yr, to solidify the pen where no one has to question who is going to be our closer. all of which was not accomplished. kw has been taken on most of his trade and that has been a fact. ok...maybe i did not get my thought across clearly.... i know what the point of the trade was and i know it has not worked ut in our favor.... yet.... i think we got to try to make the best of the situation.. i am not ready to give up on koch yet yet???????????? and again what was the reason for the trade? if that goal wasn't accomplish then what do you call that? make the best, we wanted someone to get us to the playoff, someone you can count on to close the team and most importantly what has foulke done compared to botch?

but someone has to do their homework. look at the close of last yr, he was showing his deteroitation(sp)

yeah, but we can hope that the attend keeps improving, it will prove me and many other posters who has said, put a team out there worth watching and competeing and you will see the atten improv.

we are imho are great sox fan supporters, but that doesn't make up blind to what is really happening.

cotts is good but we are hoping that he would help redeem the trade, we were taken. why was the trade made i the first place, do you remember what kw said on why the trade was done.

ok we were 6 behind, kc lost, minn and sox won shouldn't we have gain at least 1/2 game. i don't know but should jas or some one have a watch that would be stuck up on top. i think that would be a nice addition that may get more people involve. any thoughts.

Veeck traded away our futures for the current on his shoe string budgets - I'm not that much a fan of us. Art Allyn Jr is my favorite Sox owner - he bought the team from his brother John to keep the Sox from moving in 69. That is enough for me. you mention it, veeck had shoe strings as a budget, he had to do something, furhtermore he prevented the team for moving. imagine if he has several other owners to help him. i think, imo he was the best with what money he had.
