the real question is who would you see traded to mont for colon. i mean in the sp sense. then who would you see go from the minors. Thankfully I'm not the GM so I don't have to make these deals and get roasted by Loyal fans such as yourself But seriously, for Colon I think there are two deals possible. If we were sure to sign colon to a 3 year deal after the trade, give em Wright, Harris, and Malone. If the Sox don't want to sign him long term, maybe the sox will take back malone, but the Expos add Tatis' contract...it would relieve Montreal of paroll and the sox would only have to take a one year payroll hike for a shot this year. What do you think? And Chi, ure right, i'll lay off Jaime... "A little late for Lenny" ~ Lenny before i spout off on my list of who i am willing to let go, i will wait until others post there stuff. but i would really hate to give up one of our sp.

i know you are real busy with all that you have been doing and sorry for adding more to your plate. but i think your old 25 list will be great right about now with this possible rumor. i wonder how much of this rumor is true?

welcome and you have a great point about the fencesitter. btw love the avatar. Thanks LDF, actually i was looking for a Jaime Navarro picture, but i felt that this picture is an accurate depiction of his current status. lol Now Now..he's working on a comeback in one of the winter leagues. Has like a 4.19 era right now. Hopefully he can convince the Twins he's good enough. too bad that the klayton was resign, or else you can use it for him.

can you repost your top 25 prospects in advent of the rumor trade? with the season over and with some of the real young players establishing themselves, are you going to update the list? like maybe the top 30.

Wouldn't Colon be a 1 and Mark a 2?
LDF replied to suffering-nomore-sox fan's topic in Pale Hose Talk
it all depends on who we have to give up to get him. -

who say that one that you are normal, 2 that you are not b****y and 3 that you were loved.

cali what is that under your name, it looks neat.

ask you this,, "do you not see by investing in some real decent or above decent players, will in fact bring fans to the park. by trying to make the playoff by investing money will establish the team for futures to come. making and acquiring a player or 2 without giving up too much will show the fans that you are serious about brining in a product to our city that the fans will come out and see." btw, i live in another state or i would be there to ask my questions.

they should improve the humvee(sp) as well. you know the truck or whatever they were using in the blackhawk down situation.

excellant advice. i love the mark b question, with an addition of but this tact, you (kw) may have insulted him that he will not sign witht he sox. lets ask him some tough questions folks.

then don't put aside with the lack of answers. something like that happen in the first clubhouse discussion with smith of the blackhawks.

never, but i am serious about the list of questions.

I agree, I have long been underwhelmed by Colon but have held back saying so knowing how brutal these boards can be at times. He seems to me to be the classic underachiever. Some days his stuff is so overpowering it takes your breath away. Other times he's very ordinary. Maybe he is ready to have that breakout year, but I'm not ready to give up the farm for him. The fact is at this point in time Major League baseball is relatively pitching poor. Also, in addition to the weight Colon's mechanics are not the smoothest in the world. He's a strong as an Arabian horse but with his weight and his motion he is courting danger. Yes, I'd like to have him but not at any cost, and I would not assume that he definitely will be the long term ace we need to compliment Mark B. i rather would have vasquez instead of colon. i would rather get dustin hermanson or robert person to go with either one. i thing i forgot about is losing out pick in any fa we sign. that is where i am going to stop whining about getting a fa.

how bout making a list of questions that can be asked by whoever is there. lets keep it real, not like my favorites of when are you going to quit? mine is how can you really justify the ray durham trade, when we have to pay 90% of his salary, getting jon adkins and his salary. (we could have let him walk at the end of the season)
-
does that mean that is we trade mark b, garland, rauch and even honel is fine with you? I meant within reason, the Expos won't be getting 3/5th of the Sox rotation. As for Ray, you and I are going to disagree on that forever. I think the Sox did fine, you disagree. yeah we are going to disagree on jon adkins being the superstar that kw wanted. but i agree with you on 1 factor, we HAVE to give up something to get colon. i just want it to be too stiff of a price, esp if we don't resign him. i think with mark b rejecting the offer, getting colon may lead to trading mark b later on.

Can you introduce me to your friend? The one in blue on the left. who the person wearing the red hat?????

QB, is the biggest need. However, whoever the Bears do get won't play. Jauron has to win or he'll be canned, so he's gonna play ol' busta ass Miller. i have always said that miller was a very good qb and the bears didn't need to address that position. i am now saying that i was totally off base on that assessment. i was wrong. miller gets hurt way too much and we need to address that position. what jerry a is going to do in the draft is beyond me, but if we can get a great future qb i am for it, however that position is like shooting craps. its all a gamble. this yr draft, for me is going to be a total unknow factor.
-
Whoops...for some reason I thought I already turned that on for you. Its all set up now Mario. how bout the rest of us.
-
that was the impression i got reading an article about the bears this morning. i believe it was in either chicago newspaper. jerry was hinting that the biggest need was at qb esp with miller having surgery.
