All he says is JR has money to spend, not that he will spend it . i know there is talk in the baseball world of a possible salary collusion among the owners and i have a tendency to agree. esp with the sox not making a run at anybody. so the 8 mil that is being save is what is or will be save by jr. this subject, of collusion will take a life of its own when the season starts.

i posted this a little while ago. but i think i have my facts straight. he reinjured himself toward the end of last season and have shoulder surgery. his first surgery, i believe was on his elbow. prob is he throw too damn hard for his body. just like lorceno barcelo(sp). even after surgery his fastball started to to 95+ again. great stuff, but may be another barcelo. i am still a fan of his and hopes he can recover.

C Tony Richie, Florida State is the all american second string all-star this yr. batting 353 with 15+ hrs and 75+ rbi's. all it would have taken is money and he would have been in a sox uni.

i am still in wonderment of the billy koch trade. but my thinking is the this guy is going to come back to haunt us in the future. i have always like his stuff and thought he could come on in the end of next season. what is kw thinking here. i need some explaination pls.

i am for trading clee, however seeing that joe b is not ready to hit at the major league, we might as well keep him. so i hope he does have a decent yr. but he helps bring in a great pit prospect, then i am for trading him.
