Because they want him back, and that's the least they can offer him. and what happens if he put up the same numbers as he did last yr? I'm storming Ritchie William Ligue style yo :metal:metal:metal oh yeah that is funny.
-
didn't the sox sign him to 1 yr and 3 mil?
-
ahhh the gm spot is what to look for.
-
well what do you expect from a girl. but orlando is interesting and i am going to say that i do not know anything about him.
-
yep that that is what a good gm does, being creative and do what you can. hasn't oak had been under a greater restraint and yet they have done well in their trades. Good point, but its pretty easy to do when you are looking for hitting. Typically you can find decent hitting out their. It is pretty easy to look good when you have Mulder, Zito and Hudson in the rotation. They were fools for giving up Lidle. oh but you forget that he had a chance to give up howry for i forgot who? better yet that lousy trade with pit. trading for clayton and his salary that could've been put to better use. put it all together, he had the player to do something and he f***ed up and put himself behind the 8 ball. it was his doing

oh yeah i forgot that you learn to have clubhouse spie stirring up prob's. what was that, gm 101?
-
trade leifer for basically a class a player with potential, i am in the thinking that maybe kw has explored that, maybe his price is too high.
-
Ritchie would be the #4. I said if we don't get anyone, meaning that our rotation would be Buerhle...Garland...Wright...Ritchie...Rauch try #5 at best.
-
oh i got it and i was coming back with irony.
-
oh yeah, b/c in is incompentent fool, that is way over his head and is in most cases has gotten fleeced in his trades. :metal
-
i will blame him when i see him f***ing up. but that was not the way the org subject started. i don;t jump on him just for to jump.
-
but when we won, we had the right chemistry in the clubhouse. the talent didn't really change, except for clayton and the injuries. then last yr we got ritchie for pit and still had a cancer in the clubhouse. how much did that affect us
-
yep, he is such a smart one, esp with the other talent in the trade esp with the almost trade.
-
oh yeah, his crediablity with the other gm's is right up there with let say........ ummmm billy beane. oh yeah i can see the comparision right now. wow. such talent as a gm. we are save.
-
and with his stellar tract record for making outstanding trades, rightfully so. :metal Yeah he makes bad trades and crappy trades and terrible trades etc. But that doesn't mean people need to bash his every move...because he has made good trades if people haven't noticed. oh yeah, i should really cheer those trades and you expect me to be happy and full of cheer(xmas) because he f***s up. come on now.

i am not even going to get into the evans vs kw discussion. but to tell me to shut the f*** up. screw you. i will say that kw is and at this point a lousy gm who has been taken more often than not. there is yet to see positive results in any of his trade except for maybe jimmenez. ref byrd, why give all that money to ritchie when we could've at least make a run at byrd. the possible sfo trade, that was the second non trade. the first was the trade that he wanted for darren ernast(sp). as to the farm, i will still say and we really don't know for sure, but did he really built the farm, or was he there and got credit for the selection. unless you were there, people will have their doubts as i do.
-
Colon and Vazquez i s the way to go, if we don't have to give up the farm to get them. person is still there, we could've used that 3 mil that we are paying ritchie to better used.
-
then why pay 3 f***ing mil for ritchie.
-
WTF!!!! and kw is trying to ease the spending.
-
in the suntimes i read this part of the story about kw at the winter meeting. >>While things appeared dull on the surface, not all was lost for general manager Ken Williams, who is heading into his third season with the club. His late-night chat sessions with other GMs established a rapport with his peers and might help set up future deals. what really pop into my mind it the part of the movie "Goodfella" with joe pepsci(sp) establish a rapport really, who is this guy really trying to kid?
-
ref the minor selection in the draft, i think these players are not worht much.
