according to BA, our very own mb. –Mark Buehrle lhp, White Sox Buehrle finished one victory short of 20, which would have made him the first White Sox pitcher since Jack McDowell to reach that plateau. He pitched against Albert Pujols in the 1999 junior college regional playoffs–Pujols drilled a two-run homer off him, but Buehrle’s team won the game–and both have ascended at a shockingly rapid rate ever since. Once considered just another promising arm in a deep stock of White Sox pitching prospects, Buehrle has surpassed them all to become Chicago’s ace. He’s not overpowering, but he commands four solid pitches and is durable, pitching 460 innings over the last two seasons. Honorable Mention: Diamondbacks closer Byung-Hyun Kim (8-3, 2.04, 36 saves) and Phillies SS Jimmy Rollins (.245-11-60, 31 steals) were NL all-stars. Kim bounced back nicely from his disastrous 2001 World Series, while Rollins has made it to the midsummer classic in each of his two full seasons in the majors . . . RHP Joel Pineiro was the most consistent pitcher in the Mariners rotation, going 14-7, 3.24 . . . Pineiro couldn’t quite pull Seattle into the playoffs, but Angels RHP John Lackey and Twins OF Michael Cuddyer made their clubs’ postseason rosters after starting the year in the Triple-A Pacific Coast League. Lackey went 9-4, 3.66 in 18 big league starts as Anaheim set a franchise record for victories. Cuddyer had a tough time cracking Minnesota’s outfield during the regular season, but he hit .309-20-53 in 86 PCL games and started in right field for the Twins in the playoffs . . . It took him a while, but OF Vernon Wells finally established himself with the Blue Jays, batting .275-23-100. Previous Winners 1998–Alex Rodriguez, ss, Mariners 1999–Vladimir Guerrero, of, Expos 2000–Andruw Jones, of, Braves 2001–Mark Mulder, lhp, Athletics

we are #6 and here is what was said. 6. Chicago -- The only city proven to consistently support a losing team (if only because no other city so consistently produces losers). Win or lose, Cubs fans fill the Friendly Confines. The most knowledgeable fans, however, reside on the south side. http://msn.sports.espn.go.com/espn/sportsn...=BaseballCities

Your not listening to me. The Sox can put together a package to get any player they want. The point is they won't so stop wasting your time thinking about it. oh ok

-
he got 110 k's and 100 runs with 23+ hrs for an off hrs in the rbi total. but think about it, 3.5 mil a yr, plus one of their young pitchers in a trade with us for lets say 'of' and a pit prospect.
-
i don't know about penny. picking wilson up to play cf for 3.5 mil, a ba of 265 lifetime and except for last yr a 30/30 person. not too shabby. but if they are desperate, why not go for one of there other sp and we will throw in a prospect but not rauch.
-
but i need to tell you this..... nah. i won't, you know it anyway. :metal
-
you guys tried to flame me yesterday for the way i wanted the twins to win. but i beat you down. :metal now for the record, i hope that the angels can do it
-
i just copied it the same way it was on the times. it was a good attention getter. what i liked was that he was not happy with the way the sox season ended and wants to have more, like a series and more. that is the hunger that we need here. some drive, not someone wanting to collect a check, like royce.
-
you had a couple of good post. i was with frank from the beginning of his stuff from the old board to the new one. believe it or not, i gave him a lot of the ideas that he has now. i doubt he would acknowledge it. i have talked to bill from the hawks future for the last 4 to 5 yrs. one of the mod's post over there as well. i want to make a logo or attach a logo from this site to my name over there. i used to post there 2 yrs ago under hawks fan for o/40 yrs.

suck my dick it couldn't have been nicer. who was that who made the last out....... ummmmm :metal:D why do anybody hate anybody. i been on ray for the last 3 yrs he been with the sox. i been for trading him. but to get some prospects back, not to give oak the series or try to. which they failed. adkins is going to be a career minor leaguer. imo. if kw didn't want him here for the next yr. then let him walk at the end of the season. it would be better that way. force oak to pony up more in the trade or tuff. we paid practually his whole salary and with what little saving there was, (less than 1 mil) they still have to pay the salary of adkins this yr and the rest of his contract. where is the savings? this bs about getting something for nothing is not always right esp in this case. Why do you hate Ray so much, it's not like he screwed the team over to my knowledge.

HOLY s***!!!! LDF JUST GOT OWNED BY MARK!!!! LMFAO!!! it would take a pee brian grunt to come to that conclusion. PEE BRIAN? EXACTLY WHAT THE f*** ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY THERE JACKASS? THAT YOU CANT SPELL?? LMFAO!!! we all knew from the other board that i can't spell and damn. brain is what i was trying to type. oh well i had my mind elsewhere.
