we can package lee and some others for one of a young stud pit in the sd farm. russ is nice but not worth a package from the sox. plus i don't think we should get into a bidding war for him. Well, I like the Padres young pitchers, but they aren't looking to deal them. If they did want to pick someone up from the Padres I'd look at Brian Lawrence as a veteran presence. He's a pretty damn good pitcher, imo. Of course, I wouldnt' give them a ton. Also, I don't think they are interested in Lee as they will most likely have Nevin in the outfield or first while Klesko plays the outfield, and then Kotsay. Of course that still leaves room for Lee, but I thought they were paying Trammell some decent money, so who knows. considering the numbers, kelsko is almost = to lee and lee is cheaper.

brett is a pit i alway intrigue me. his 3 mil a yr price tag is something to deal with as well. but put an offense around him, he might be better than a 500 pit. his fastball is hard to come by.

ref the money i say this, jr will spend it if there is a need and vazquez is worth it.

i wouldn't consider borchard a prospect according to BA standards.

as in post season, you have to judge him on his performance and it wasn't too good. i am not disagreeing in his talent, but i don't think it was that great. remind me of the talk of ritchie when he came here.

totally out of lf on this one, but i am watching his first show and i am really amaze at what he did in special effects considering the era. his show is good. i had an other opinion when i was young but now i can apprecaite it.

some nl pit haven't done well in the al. but what is his whip and he didn't do too well in the playoff. but i agree, may be a good #2 or 3 pit.

maybe in the 75-100 range, but i doubt it. the flubs, sd and the A's will have a lot there

i honestly think that the package of rauch and lee is way tooooo expensive.

first of all, i have had problems with tigerdirect. i still haven't recieve a part that was screwed up it been over a yr. i would not trust them with a 10 ft pole. their quality has gone down big time. second, my best recommenddation is to build your computer. avoid pentium 4 and go with amd. they are better across the board. avoid hp b/c they are having some majpr proble in the last 1/2 yr with their mother board and hard drives. when you get your software installed. immediately update your windows. xp home edtion is having some problems and locking out people, mostly in hp. you can have a top rated puter built for around 800- 900 dollars. get a plextar crw.

They have until the 20th. The 7th was the deadline for FA's. The 20th is the deadline for non FA's. They haven't done anything yet, but will probably avoid arbitration and sign him. Im sure he knows that he won't win in arbitration. and we have nothing to show for the trade. real swift kw
