The Official Cliff Politte Sucks Thread
Whitewashed in '05 replied to JenksForPrez45's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Thanks for 05 Cliff, but you are f***ing terrible out there. Worse reliever in baseball. Bring up Tracey or make a trade KW, but Cliff has to go. I feel bad saying that because it's nothing against the guy personally he just f***ing blows. -
Gotta vote for AJ even though he most likely won't get elected since everyone hates him.

QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ Jul 1, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) Almost everyone got a hit or two. That's doing a job. Hell, even Javier got a hit. We scored 8 runs. How you can say we played like s*** today is far beyond my comprehension. Everyone might have gotten a hit, but their hitting with runners on base was terrible. 3 GIDP's along with popping 2 bunts straight into the air, almost 3. Javy pitching like s***. I don't see how you could say it was a great game. Yes a great f***ing outcome with AJ's blast, but you can't say the sox played great. At least not in my opinion.

QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ Jul 1, 2006 -> 05:35 PM) HELL YES! EAT s***, SCRUBS! FIRE DUSTY AND LET HIM GET A GOOD f***ING NIGHT'S SLEEP ALREADY! THOME! PAULIE! CREDE! ALL THE SCRUBS WHO f***ED UP DEFENSIVELY! AJ f***ING PIERZYNSKI!!!!!!!! Hell, EVERYONE deserves a damn pat on the back in some way for this one! AWESOME! WOW! The Sox finally took both series from the Scrubs. I will sleep very peacefully tonight, and if the Sox sweep, then the Tigers are about the last of my worries for now. Everyone deserves a pat on their back for playing like s***. They played like total s*** today even though we won.

The guy who "threw" the ball back on the field
Whitewashed in '05 replied to drowninginflame's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Throwing the balls back onto the field while almost hitting players is bad and now their throwing garbage on their own field? They just hit a new low. How ignorant. I mean the groundscrew had a squad of about 7 or 8 people and they kept throwing s***? What assholes. -
QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jul 1, 2006 -> 04:58 PM) Big Frank just broke up Batista's no-hitter with a two run shot. Didn't Frank break up Washburn's vs us a while ago in like the 7th?

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 1, 2006 -> 04:20 PM) Enough of the Contreras comparisons. Jose Contreras pitched for years in Cuba and was regarded as their greatest pitcher. The only time Vazquez has had any measure of success, it was on a crappy team that had no pressure and was also in the NL. Contreras also pitched well almost all of last year (starting the season out very well, but getting screwed by the offense or bullpen a lot). I don't think Jose had an ERA near 5 at any point last year. I am not saying Vazquez will be able to turn it around and pitch as good as Contreras I am just saying that hopefully he can stop pitching like s*** and barely getting to the 6th inning like Contreras last year. Before the ASB didn't Contreras only get to the 8th like twice?
-
There needs to be another bunting practice because the whole f***ing team was horrid today.
-
Javy isn't going to be traded anytime soon. Although I am getting REALLY tired of his bulls***. I am hoping he turns it around in the 2nd half like Contreras last season. We need him, just like we need everyone else to get straghtened out fast not named Buehrle. Yes Contreras too, he has been bad lately.

I know I wasn't the only one, but who else was thinking 2005 AJ vs Dodgers? BAD ASS f***ING HOMER!!
-
HELL YES!!!!! AJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL f***ING YESS!!!! EAT s*** YOU LITERING f***S!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
-
Thanks for the info guys.
-
He had a good ST and is a good prospect for us, but I am wondering how high of a ceiling does he have and how is he projected to do at the major league level?
-
Mauer and Morneau are flat out raking right now.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Whitewashed in '05 replied to Jimbo's Drinker's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Great win. Jon, Uribe, and the bullpen did a good job. Go get em tomorrow and I hope the Pirates can start a winning streak damnit. -
QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:55 AM) Nope, it's actually pretty encouraging. The Tigers and Twins won't get better pitching over a 20 game span than they did during this stretch. Our starting pitching has been struggling, and we only managed to lose 2 games while the Tigers/Twins were on fire. Fathom... is that you??
-
Hmm... that sucks.

Gamethread 6-29-06, Sox vs. Pirates
Whitewashed in '05 replied to Capn12's topic in 2006 Season in Review
Politte is f***ing useless. USELESS! -
QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 10:39 PM) Another worthy topic on the frontpage of Palehose. Can we start losing or something? Lol hey hey now. Watch out with that.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Whitewashed in '05 replied to Gregory Pratt's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Good win. I haven't had that much confidence in Uribe in a long time, I know he'd come through...and what can I say, I knew Marte would help us get the win. Wait... he isn't on the team anymore. Go get em tomorrow boys. -
From preps to the big leagues
Whitewashed in '05 replied to Controlled Chaos's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Cool story. It's pretty cool that so many guys from the same high school team are in the majors or at least have a future in the majors. -
Great job taking care of them like their supposed to... Even though I heard it wasn't pretty... Go get em tomorrow.

What was the worst trade in baseball history?

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 01:23 PM) How about Pierzynski for Liriano/Nathan/Bonser or whatever garbage the Red Sox gave the Diamonbacks for Schilling. Lately this is about as bad as you can get. I can't say worse ever though since I don't go that far back. -
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 11:53 PM) To extend your career instead of burning out at 28 like Kerry Wood? He's not near the player Uribe is defensively. Uribe may get lazy defensively, but he can be a game-changer as well...as seen in game 4. Their situations aren't even comparable.

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 10:54 PM) Yeah they sure broke out the bats the last time he won. Freddy's wins: 5-3 over the Tigers 6-4 over Blue Jays (f***ed up rain game where they rushed to get through the 5th.) 9-2 over Twins (3 runs came after he left the game.) 8-5 over Angels (he only gave up 3 of the runs in 6 innings) 9-1 over Angels (Freddy is an Angels killer, but the Sox brought the lumber against Bullpen pitcher Kevin Gregg that night) 7-3 over Twins (1 run came in the 9th) 7-0 over Cubs (Freddy is a Cubs killer and the Cubs f***ing blow) 12-4 over Reds (another s***ty NL team) 1-0 over the Cards I only see about 2 or 3 games where the offense bailed him out of a below average start. The Angels (Even though he had a Quality start, the Rain game on Easter, and MAYBE the Reds game even though he settled down big time after giving up that first inning, first row homer to that steroid abuser, Rich Aurilia.) Hasn't it already been mentioned 100 times that Freddy is intentionally taking speed off his fastball for more movement? I don't think everyone knows that, but I think the beef they have is that he's been a power pitcher his whole career with success so why change it now? Some might be curious as if he really has "intentionally" took mph off his fastball. You would think maybe he would rear back every once in a while during a jam to blow it past them, but nothing. Unless someones seen him rear back a few times, but the gun on comcast f***ing sucks.
