Who do you dislike as a sports fan?
Every Cubs player except Derek Lee and Zambrano (Lee seems very genuine and Z is just a gamer who loves to play) Every Twins player (although I respect the M and M's)

Cubs hit a granny and take the lead versus the 'Stros. 5-4. Man.

8/6 Sox v Tigers: 7:11, CSN
Could be the biggest outing for Danks yet because he has to give the team 7-8 innings tonight with the depleted bullpen. He hasn't done that very often, so keep the ball low, especially the changeup and pitch to contact. Bust the hitters inside and please don't let Polanco beat us, he is the most unathletic looking thing out there. He looks like a rolly polly.

Your first place Chicago White Sox!
2 game lead over Minny in the lost column is also big because losses can't be made up. What a swing in momentum yesterday, potentially down one to up one. WOW.

2008 Beijing Summer Olympics Thread
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 6, 2008 -> 11:46 AM) This is awesome. His Real Sports story on HBO is amazing. http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/summer08/news/story?id=3521480 yeah it was amazing. I love track and his story is real inspirational. Hope he wins the 1500 because it would make his story so much more amazing — even tho it's hard to beat already.

See you tomorrow guys. Hopefully we pull this out and the twins lose. This could be a big swing either. I pretty much know Uribe is gonna get out.

Last inning for me guys, I don't trust Russell and have to get up early tomorrow. Can Jr. please walk-off?

Agreed Plesac is good, but he is Hawk 2.0. They agree on everything, its so annoying.

8/5 Sox v Tigers: 7:11 CST, CSN
If we go to a 14th inning, I am gonna go to sleep. Really would not want to see Russell in this game, so can we please get two more outs and then win this game.

Never heard Hawk so happy on a foul ball. I thought it was gone.

A guy averaging one walk per inning almost, throws one in three innings. Did anyone read the scouting reports to be patient against Rodney to our hitters?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 5, 2008 -> 11:15 PM) you mean his 3 for 6 tonight with a homer and his .300/.382/.667/1.049 going into tonight's game since the ASB? No, Quentin is still a f***ing supermangodtitan Well to be fair, Q was trying to win this game against a pitcher it is very hard to hit a solo homer on. And a horrible call on Thome.

My god, Rodney is going a career high today. Wow. Don't our hitters know any patience. Seriously, this guy keeps a job pitching against us.

Who is left in the pen? Russell?

Please AJ get on for Carlos. I don't want to face Detroits 3-4-5 in the 12th.

My god, Uribe is almost Paul Konerko like with the baseball bat.
