There is no excuse for why Hermanson wasn't brought in. He is your closer with a 0 ERA and Buerhle was getting hit hard for most the night. Ozzie can yell at reporters all day, but we all know he is a moron. BTW, the Twins and Ron Gardenhire are probably s***ting in their pants.

Of course the game is on ESPN, we have showed America how much we suck. We won't even mount a come back off Sheilds.

I would take Lew Ford over Everett and possibly Frank, Morneau over PK, Stewart over Pods, Jones over Dye, Cuddyer over Crede, their plantoon over Uribe, Mauer over A.J. Santana over Buerhle, Radke over Garland, Silva over Garcia, Mays over El-Duque and only Contreras over Lohse. Not to mention their entire bullpen over ours with the lone exception of Hermy.

It's simple the Twins are built much better than we are. Their hitters are"hitters," they 8 Iguchi's in their line-up, everyone except Hunter. All the Twins hitters hit opposite way and that's why they have such a solid line-up. Their pitching staff doesn't walk anyone and their bullpen is so deep, that they can afford to take a pitcher out in the 6th or 7th without wasting the pen. Let's face it they are better than us again, we are very lucky that we have a 3.5 game lead. The scary thing is Johan and Nathan are struggling a little bit now.

You are looking at the Sox when the pitching sucks. We all know that this is gonna be very familiar for the rest of the year. Let's be honest, our pitching was out of its mind earlier in the year.

That is a good trade for the Cubbies, but I think LaTroy will be solid for the Giants as long as he doesn't miss with his location b/c of the short left field wall. I think this is a good trade for both, but the Cubs will get the better of it in the long run.
