All this tension, why won't the draft start?

The sad thing about today is, I have finals. Spanish at 2:00 and have barely studied, thanks to the draft.

2-5: Gordon and Pelfrey The rest depend on Boras, but those guys are the sure bets.

BA has us taking Broadway, but I still think Carillo unless Clement falls.

The part I love about the draft besides the Sox picking is seein who slips and how far down. I just find it interesting to gauge teams opinion on players rather than the BA and MLB.com's.

Friend of mine's brother was in the world Series, Ted Rosinski on UIC. His dad was also the 4th pick overall of the Cubs in 1976.

What Ozzie needs to do is pitch Shingo every other dayish, when the Sox are up big or down big. Let him get rhythm and then ease him back into tough situations. This will work, but unfortunately the Sox haven't been up big or done big, so Ozzie has got to put him with a lead and hope for the best.

Does Carillo really throw 92-93 and can reach 97? I read that on Baseball America and I just can't believe it with his 165 pound frame. But if it's true, I would definately take him: Sox fan, good command, college pitcher, polished. He could be ready to take over for Contreras in a year or two. Then the rotation would look like: Buerhle, Garland, Garcia, McCarthy and Carillo. Looks good to me.

I think Kenny will trade Anderson b/c we have Jermaine this year and next, Pods and Rowand will definately back next year. So there would be no room for Anderon. I wouldn't even mind it that much since we still have Owens, Sweeney and Young. Anderson and Crede with maybe some other lower level prospects could net Baez and Huff.

That scared me, thought he got a hit, but nice job there by Sox relief. I am close to giving Neal the set-up job over Marte. The only thing wrong with Neal is consistency, he has better control than Marte and seems better in pressure situations.

I actually did run the marathon and finished at 4:06 with the 27.2 mile course, but for 26.2 I would easily be under 4:00, my goal time.

He was supposed to start against, but since he has an illness, his next start has been moved to Wednesday against Cleveland. That is a huge break for us as he would have shut us down. Those are the kind of breaks we have been getting this year.

what we don't have is a 2 inning guy who could get you to Hermy. The Twins have Rincon, we have Viz. Our bullpen will be the downfall if we don't make the playoffs.

You look at the Twins and they somehow always find good relief and Gardy always puts them in good situations. How else can Terry Mullholland and Matt Guerrier have jobs and you look at us who haven't had a good pen in years.
