  1. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 10:37 PM) Reggie Miller had 3 free throws to tie the game against the Magic......... he made only 2. What happened to the Clutch Master? 85-84 Magic with 5 secs left. Wow, I can't believe they even came back to make those matter. I checked the score periodically tonight. But about Reggie, he got old.

  11. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 05:48 PM) If Brady plays for a better team why are you picking the Colts? I think NE's defense is depeleted enough that Indy can get the job done. The field's not going to make a big difference tomorrow. The field's been covered the past couple nights, and it's supposed to be a dry 35 degrees tomorrow. Peyton had a pretty decent game in the first week of the season, and Indy's been on a roll since. I think Indy's hot enough right now, and NE's depleted enough in the corners that Indy will put up more points in the game.
  12. QUOTE(hi8is @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 05:38 PM) wtf is so bad about kong in the three hole I don't get it either. It's just like having Frank in the 3 hole, really.
  13. QUOTE(danman31 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 05:35 PM) What's so great about his numbers against NE this year? Those aren't spectacular or anything. I think the Pats will win because they have the better team and the better scheme. People have fallen in love with this Colts offense for the simple fact that they haven't been stopped much all year, especially not since they lost to the Pats. The Pats are at home and they have a defense, neither of which the Colts can say. They're very Tom Brady-esque numbers if you ask me. And that's my point whenever this arugment's come up. Brady plays for the better TEAM. Brady doesn't have to do much at the QB position to get the Pats a win, because they have a solid defense. Trent Dilfer would be the next Joe Montana, if he was in New England. Peyton gets blamed for a lot of things that he can't help. Peyton didn't give up the 24 to NE and JAX, and the 45 to KC this year.
  14. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 05:10 PM) Alright now go look up the P-man's numbers against New England last year :rolly :rolly :rolly :rolly :rolly :rolly I'll take that as saying I'm correct in what I said, since you just kind of blew it off. I know Peyton blew that game last year, but to say every game is Peyton's fault is f***tarded. Like hammer has said, it takes a team.
  15. Great stuff to hear. Thanks for the check in!
  16. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 04:43 PM) If that were to happen, oh my................. First Fisk, Then Frank? Fisk definitely will be remembered more for his years in Boston than he will here.
  17. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 03:31 PM) So if they win it's because of Manning, but if they lose it's not Manning's fault? Ok. Let's see what the numbers are at the end of the game. Peyton's numbers in the first NE game of the season: 16/29, 256 Yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT...Colts lost 27-24. Peyton's numbers in the loss to JAX: 27/39, 368 Yds, 3 TDs, 0 INTs....Colts lost 27-24. Peytons numbers in the loss to KC: 25/44, 472 Yds, 5 TDs, 1 INT...Colts lost 45-35. I guess it's Peyton's fault that we lost those games..... :rolly :headshake
  18. First time since 1966 both teams were below .500 when they met up for a game. No matter what the records are for this game, it's always a classic.
  19. W00t! Indiana wins after all that. I’ll gladly take this; we've lost too many games like this in the last 2 seasons. Indiana’s back to .500 overall, 7-7 (2-1). What a great place to win our first road game of the season! Hell of a game to watch! IU wins it 75-73!
