I'm a bit afraid of that.....I'm sure he'll start out hot, but I just hope he keeps it up past the break. Loaiza started to slip a bit in the final month. I just hope he can have a good season. I'm not expecting the exact same thing out of him. He'll obviously lose a little bit more.

My friend took me to South Bend to see the ND-Navy game this year....Awesome, awesome experience.....It was a great game too; ND won on a 40 yd FG w/ time expiring. That place just has a buzz around it on gamedays. I felt as if I was in 'Rudy' lol.

I have no problem rooting for any Big Ten team w/ the exception of Purdue. I was really pulling for UM today and I was glad to see Iowa destroy Florida today.

I'm pretty sure USC will probably pull this one out, but a two touchdown deficit isn't that much in college just yet. They have trouble putting these things aways. Look at the Georgia-Purdue game, though Georgia ended up pulling that out (Thank God--whew--I'm an IU fan )....but we'll see....USC has probably got this one early though.

Well I know I'm still considered a newbie so no one probably cares yet.... ...but for those who do...I'm taking off for New York w/ my grandparents tomorrow through X-mas eve. Welcome to the board you two! Milwood's probably out of our league w/ his asking price...I see him just signing a one year deal w/ Philly, and then testing the FA market again next year when the pitching available is much weaker.

But if we have the money to keep Nomar around....why don't we just nix the deal altogether and sign Mags?

I personally see nothing great about this trade for us.

I personally see nothing beneficial in this Mags trade to Boston...We'd have nothing to show for it after the '04 season. I think we'll be decent, but I really don't see us winning it ALL in '04, so what's the point of this trade. Can anyone tell me anything beneficial of this deal?

I hope we can make some kind of deal w/ LA this offseason....I'm so glad that this Arod trade is out of the picture for now.

If it does ever go through...I sure hope we're out of that Boston trade....Keeping Nomar does nothing for us. Will LA still do that Mags trade for Perez, Mota, and prospects?
