It seems the writers/voters always have something against the underclassmen in the league. Fitzgerald would be my guy though.

The sad thing is this could actually happen....

I know this isn't the same Cruz, but I remember seeing earlier this offseason that San Fran wasn't going to pick up Jose Cruz's option. Do you think we'd look at him THIS offseason?

Though I'm an IU fan. You have to watch out for Purdue this year. Too bad they can't play Duke in the Challenge.

We really needed Leach to step up this year as Newton did last year, Jefferies the year before, and so on. Leach has a great presence on the defensive side of the court, but we needed to see him step it up offensively. This is a big blow to the Hoosiers. Hopefully he can recover from this fast. The thing that hurts the most about this, we don't really have any other height to replace him with.

Agreed. Gordon did have a successful year, and he can pitch. However, that only happens when he's healthy. Gordon has a long line of being injured. I highly doubt the Bankees get the same Gordon we saw in 2003.

At least he knows what we need. Lets just see what happens here. We all have to remember the offseason is still relatively new. A lot of the deals don't go down until after the new year.

I'm really surprised we didn't make an offer to him. I remember seeing that Tony G. was JR's favorite guy on the team because of his work ethic etc. I guess that's exactly what we don't want.
