Where did you get this info from? It is a proven fact that enough of any drug will impair motorskills, speech, and sight just to name a few for a period of time. It is also a proven fact that enough of any drug, over an extended period of time, will have damaging and lasting effects..... that goes for alcohol, to pot, to the truly hardcore drugs. And, did you know, that one joint has 3 times as much tar and cancer causing carcinogens contained within it than a cigarette does? While I am for the legalization of pot, to say that marijuana has no effect on you, short-term or long-term, is naive at best. Last time I checked, it was actually 4 times as much. Not a big difference...but I thought I'd point it out. I'd be one for legalization of marijuana only if they had strict laws on it....obviously, can't sell it to people under 21(like the alcohol law, because it impairs your vision like alcohol), and assuming they could get like a breathalizer like they do for alcohol testing, I figure that'd be good as well. I'd also make the paper on it like orange or something other than white....so that way you know it is marijuana. I've never personally smoked pot....so I wouldn't know that if the pigments that went into coloring the paper would have an effect on the taste or not....they might....I wouldn't know though. ive never had impaired vision, also with pot you roll your own joints, and the papers come in several colors. im goin to get my medical card when i get 300 bucks for the paper work and such. There is only one way to check for if you are stoned eyes(if closed or red but no able to prove) field test might work but im always able to keep my balance/move when i have to.

Give the war more time, I am sure there will be more accidents because civilian deaths are inevitable. But these deaths are on the rise. Wait until the urban warfare in Baghdad starts. The US troop and Iraqi civilian body bags will be piling up really really fast. I wonder how the media is going to paint that. I agree that Saddam has killed civilians but for a surgical strike mentality and liberation movement like we are advocating, these are a lot of civilian deaths. But tell me in the UN Sanctions that killed over 500,000 people and the US has made it a FEDERAL CRIME for US civilians to smuggle food into Iraq to give to the starving...how do we not have any of that blood on our hands?......or do we? They work in the equivilent of sweatshops. (They have been deemed that by workers rights organizations, human rights organizations, etc.) They are LUCKY if they make $50 a day...that's if they work their ass off. Read up in the news etc. on the subject and their conditions. Tom Morello from RATM and Audioslave is a big activist in this. check www.ratm.com and they have a lot of news links for it. Read up on it, 420. And oh yeah 420, in agricultural labor...it's not 5 days a week. I work in the summers at a farm, 6 days a week but most everybody there works 7 and usually for more than 8 hours. You don't get a full weekend off when the harvest is in. You gotta work til its done as much as possible so the stuff doesn't rot. i also work on a farm and i work 50-60 hours a week during the summer i know how it works. i just have to comment on how bias you say cnn and all the other news stations but your sorces have no creadabilty 90% of the time.

They are getting paid way below our poverty line. It's sickening. I'd also rather have money going to help people than to the military industrial complex. not really they pick tomatoes you get a husband, wife team thats 24k a year not great but working 5 days a week and making 24k for a household where there is no running water. is 10 times better than what most people are getting you might want to rethink your statement apu.

There are many other dictators that kill their civilians in a much greater amount than Saddam could ever dream of achieving....except they don't have oil. It's not a niave statement. I have read the resolutions and have been able to speak to Doug Rokke who helped craft these resolutions since he was one of the lead inspectors in 1991-1998 in Iraq. They don't allow for vigilante military actions like the US is doing now. They authorize that the inspectors go back in to validate the US/UK claims and if they find anything, destroy it. There was no need for war in this situation. Did anybody think they would give up anything (assuming they have anything) when the entire time Bush is amassing troops around their borders ready to kick their ass? If they had weapons, it wasn't logical that they'd say "Here they are." when they knew that the US was going to invade either way. o so now you are saying they do have womd which is a violation of that resoulution(so it is still an illegal war because they have WOMD and the resoulution stated that if they have WOMD they will get attacked) they have womd they get attacked, they kill there own civilions they get attacked i see nothing wrong with this. and we are not steeling there oil we are giving them much needed food to survive instead of money(suddan just took it all and put it in his bank anyway)

we have killed some inocent civilions yes but that # we have killed is 1/1000 that of which suddan has killed,(apu do you not agree). and it is a tragedy when things like this happen.
