Honestly, I wasn't going to stick around for the concert but I was excited to not have to fight traffic leaving the ballpark haha. I was more pissed about that than anything when the cancellation was announced 😂 I was like damn now I gotta deal with all these pissed off people in the parking lots.

So I went to this game but I bought the tickets off Stub Hub so I wasn't sure if I would get the complimentary tickets or not. I have yet to receive this email...

I hope when Ishbia or whoever builds the new ballpark that they have a dedicated area that tells the story of the franchise, and that it's done well and not half-assed.

This would be really cool. After visiting many other MLB parks one thing I've noticed the Sox have a lot of missed opportunity when it comes to telling the story of the franchise. Even if there haven't been a lot of championships there's still a lot of cool parts of our history. We should have like a southside museum or something somewhere in the ballpark. Detroit does this cool kind of walking-museum on their concourse where you can read about their team's history throughout the decades as you meander around the field.

Are they retiring number 7? If they are I think that’s too far.

Detroit makes me a tad nervous. They swept us last series in Detroit. We’ll see how our Sox fare against them on their turf again this coming weekend.

Detroit is a cool city. Anyone who says otherwise probably hasn’t been recently. Comerica itself is a nice park as well.

Last time Hawk was on the field for an event…maybe the 05 reunion last year? Anyway I remember seeing how frail he looked. Old age not being too kind to him, I think he had to be helped getting up out of his seat to stand and wave when his name was called. I doubt he would even be able to swing a golf club. Probably just watching reruns of walker texas ranger. What a life.
