QUOTE (fathom @ May 19, 2010 -> 10:16 PM) Is Channing Frye on the Lakers payroll? He looks Antwan Jamison bad tonight.
-
QUOTE (lord chas @ May 19, 2010 -> 09:52 PM) at least stockton made it to a couple finals. i doubt nash will ever sniff em They're tied at 88-88 trailing 1-0 in the series . . . not over yet.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 17, 2010 -> 07:33 PM) Reggie Miller ripping Mo Williams is awesomeness. oooo what did he say?
-
I heard he like to plunge his penis inside of her vagina with much vigor and intensity.

QUOTE (The Critic @ May 15, 2010 -> 12:18 PM) Scouts say she's a good ballhandler and doesn't mind a backdoor pick-and-roll. I also heard she can finish with either hand.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 14, 2010 -> 05:59 PM) I know this will be next to impossible for most. But I'd try my absolute hardest to get it out of my head that there's a chance Lebron will be a Bull. I agree with you. But if you cant get lost in the fantasy of King James coming to Chicago (especially given the fact that Broussard and Ford have reported such a possibility) then what fun is it to be a sports fan? May as well get swept up in the circus and see what happens.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 14, 2010 -> 03:18 PM) He's about to risk losing what, $100-$150 million in franchise value overnight in a few months? I believe I heard last night that the Cavs were worth approximately 200 million before LeBron and that he has essentially doubled the value of the team. West - Williams - Varejao - Hixon - Moon kinda has a Randy Brown - Brent Barry - Toni Kukoc - Corey Benjaman and Dickey Simpkins kinda ring to it. . . . please god, bring LeBron to Chicago.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 14, 2010 -> 12:24 PM) Rondo's spent 3 seasons with an excellent defensive coach though. I think the fact that DR can hit an 18 foot jump shot with regularity makes him better than Rondo at this point in their careers. Rondo has a high Basketball IQ but watching him shoot free throws or a mid-range J is upsetting. Rondo gets seemingly lost on defense as well.

can he hit?

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 14, 2010 -> 10:52 AM) The Bears are morons: Bears will stick with grass at Soldier Field I read this article last night and thought of you. (not in that way). On the bright side, the Bears do seem interested in laying down the fake stuff . . . just not right now.

QUOTE (The Critic @ May 13, 2010 -> 08:59 AM) I know the day games send some people into a tailspin, but I love the afternoon games. Nothing like flipping between two baseball games and a hockey game on a Sunday afternoon - LOVE IT! I couldn't agree more. I love it when you have the commercial break / intermission back up. It sends my sports nerdship into overload. The only thing that sucks is if all your teams get blown out. . . that is the absolute worst. I feel deprived when there are numerous sporting events on at the same time and they all suck. -
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 14, 2010 -> 12:14 AM) That was really it, and because they liked how Jamison could shoot threes. I really cannot remember a player wilting under the pressure as bad as Jamison did last night. He wasn't only missing shots but his shots weren't even close. It was really embarrassing, I hope for his sake he never watches his performance tonight ever ever ever.
-
I wonder what the TV numbers were for tonight. With Chicago, NY, NJ, and LA all hoping the Cavs lose you'd have to imagine the TV numbers rivaled a NBA finals game.
-
Jamison truly embarrassed himself tonight. He looked scared and played scared. I think he finished 2-10 and most of those 8 misses weren't even close.
-
sooooo the writers agree to revote the Defensive ROY award and just elect Cushing the Defensive ROY year again? That seems like a waste of time.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:53 PM) we love you anyways to be fair. . . Chris Broussard WAS just on OTL and reiterated the same information. f***ing espn synergy.
-
QUOTE (MurcieOne @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:40 PM) Chris Broussard just said on ESPN that if Cleveland loses this series that he believes Chicago is his most likely choice if he leaves. . . bulls***? Who cares? Fun to think about. . . . sigh, a day late and a dollar short. f***ing Jason.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 11, 2010 -> 05:35 PM) FWIW Adam Schefter is reporting that Cushing was busted with HCG in his system, which is not a steroid, but rather what users take when they are cycling off steroids. It is what Canseco was caught smuggling in the states, and what Man Ram was suspended for. Brian Cushing is having a baby? That would explain his impressive chesticles in the picture posted earlier on in this thread.

I hate Boston teams, Bruins, RedSox, Celtics (Pats are palatable) but I am going to root for the C's on Thursday night. I really hope LeBron is denied a title for another year. I think if they get knocked out here its going to make for great offseason drama. Go Rondo? Ok, maybe I won't go that far.

QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ May 6, 2010 -> 04:16 PM) Number 1 bust of all time? Jamarcus Russell released http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/1335595...akingNewsHolder "Fat, Lazy, and Stupid is no way to go through life, son."

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 5, 2010 -> 03:55 PM) I hope Griffey calls it quits after this year. Nothing sadder then when a former great player sticks around 2-3 years longer than he should because he can't accept the fact he's done. Watching Griffey hit makes my eyes hurt. Watching him run? Yikes. He should have retired after his stint here . . . he made that great play in the blackout game and he could have retired on a semi-high note. This bloated, no-bat speed Griffey is depressing to watch.

Per ESPN.com Little different account of what happened with Bradley... I wonder who is at fault for his bad behavior / bad performance this time. I'm guessing that Wakamatsu, Griffey, and the umpire are all secret members of the KKK and are conspiring against him.
-
Daryl Drake (WR coach for the beloved) He makes a good point about not stereotyping, however, I think my dog could still beat Devin Hester in a game of scrabble. Sorry, I just don't see how that guy is very smart.

Why hasn't Tom Thibodeau ever gotten a head coaching job? It seems like he is always on the radar for a bunch of teams. Is it because he is waiting for the right job to come along and is just being picky? Given his success in Boston this seems like the likely reason.
