I do believe in Freedom of Speech; incendiary language is NOT protected by Freedom of Speech. (You can't scream "fire" in a crowded theater!) Shhoting AK-47s in the air and screamind "Death to Israel, death to the Jews" = incendiary language!

I think that the main pupose of our penal system should be to protect the residents of the US, not to rehabilitate the inmates. In the US, we seem to value the rights of evil-doers as much, if not more than those of the victims and/or the innocent.

I am not arguing, just asking questions for my own education. I haven't studied The New Testament at all; I am curious about it. People believe what they want (need) to believe. Since I am pro-choice, I have no problem with that. I (try to) live by one simple rule...treat others like you would like to be treated. I don't tell anyone how to live their lives, I don't want to be told how to live mine. Peace.

I can't buy that! Jews and Christians alike believe in One G-d, where we differ is as to whether or not Jesus was (is) the Messiah. But since, we believe in the same G-d, why would He deny Jews entry to Heaven? Because we don't praise Jesus as the Messiah?

Why not bring back Wunsch and send Shingo down to AAA?

Does that mean then , that a Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Druid, what ever, cannot go to Heaven, if they don't embrace Jesus?

I agree. It's like anything else; when done in moderation it can be a lot of fun, but when done in excess, it becomes an obsession/addiction.

Their economy is in the toilet. Millions of dollars have to be spent to protect it's citizenry. Tourism is WAY down since the beginning of the current intafada.

They purposely "hide" amongst (and behind) their own people! Don't think for a minute that Israel wouldn't have preferred to kill Rantisi by himself. You don't get too many opportunities to kill a guy like Rantisi (see Osama Bin Laden!), you take the opportunity when it presents itself.

The concept of "forget Maggs, go for Beltran" is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. The reason we could (should) sign Maggs is because he's one of our own; he's still under contract to us. A free agent is NEVER going to pick the Sox over Yankees, Red Sox, Angels, Mariners, etc. There they would get more money, have a chance to contend for championships every year, and not have to play for an asshole owner(ship) who couldn't care less about winning!

Many polls have shown that the majority of Palestinians want Israel eliminated. Their mantra, "Palestine-From the River to the Sea". Please check out the articles/websites I posted under the heading "Bush Finally Gets One Right"...these were posted before Rantisi got wasted.

Tex: "Nuke" is 100% correct. The "palestinians" declared war on Israel; in a war, there's going to be "collateral damage"...it cannot be helped. But DO NOT EVEN TRY TO PUT THE "PALESTINIAN TERRORISTS" ON THE SAME MORAL PLANE AS ISRAEL; there are huge differences. The "palis" INTENTIONALLY target Israeli civilians, whereas when "Pali" civilians are killed (i.e. the 2 "innocent" bystanders in the Rantisi execution), that is the definition of "collateral damage". Don't be fooled by the propaganda that Apu, and others, will feed you. Israel has not, and does not target civilians! Of this you can be 100% certain.

No matter what Israel does, it gets criticized by the rest of the world! There comes a time when you can't care about world opinion, and you do what you have to do to protect your own people.

Why should I feel sorry for the deaths of two people who would like to see me dead, solely because I am a Jew? I don't sympathize with dead Nazis either!
