  1. That's what I've been doing, and its not working, oh well.
  2. Oh I didn't know that. lol I'm used to the WhiteSox.com board where you only have one font.
  3. I liked most of the article except for the part about Robbie Alomar. I still can't believe they let him go. He added a great spark to the team, something that is lacking now. And I hate when people say Jose is the leader because he has no situational hitting, and he can never get a sac fly or sac bunt, and Robbie could. And trading Carlos Lee?! No way, Carlos is going to be a star; hes a great five tool player.
  4. Maybe we can trade Willie Harris and Danny Wright to Texas for A-Rod? That would be a fair trade wouldn't it?
  5. Wasn't Pedro Astacio the most highly touted pitcher at the trading deadline a few years back while playing for Colorado? He might not be that bad of a signing, especially for a minor league contract.
  6. Sportscenter just reported the same thing, and I came here to be the first to report this "official" news, but I was too late. Anyways, its a done deal, pending a physical. as in Escobar who should have taken the Angels out of the race.
  7. Why would Texas get rid of A-Rod and not get any pitching in return? I highly doubt this trade will go through, because Texas already has enough hitting, they need quality starters.
  8. Does anyone know if the series @MON is going to be in Montreal or is it going to be in San Juan? I wouldn't mind the game being in San Juan because of the short fences and our number of latin players, but that would be a heck of a lot of traveling.
  9. Whoa how did that happen? I'm new to the system, but hey im gettin more posts to raise my status.
  10. Colon is in fine shape to pitch. He is a workhorse. I was at the game in early September when he threw a complete game against the twins to take over first place, that was impressive. He gets stronger as the game and season go on.

  12. I like the move too, but I would have loved to see him here with the Sox because we need some speed outside of Harris.
  13. I felt there was no excuse to lose this division with the talent they had in '03. They had it all, great hitting, great starters, a good bullpen, suprisingly good defense, but the only thing they lacked was speed. Speed might be just that important though, because you look at the Marlins and see the 1, 2 punch at the top of their lineup. There is no doubt that the Sox had more talent than the fish, but their only real speed threat was Willie Harris and he never played.
