  1. Seahawks fumble, according to the refs, but the play is under review. It is gonna be overturned.
  2. 27-27, Seatlle won the toss, and Matt Hasselbeck said "We want the ball and we will score." The Seahawks have all the momentum and they better beat the Pack. Longwell missed a 46 yd fg at the end of regulation, and that's how we got here.

    Peanut Butter

    Jiff smooth for me.
  4. The same thing would happen in the computer games I used to play. In the game, speed meant nothing and power was a huge asset so Cora always sucked, and Thomas Ventura as #3 and 4 were awesome.
  5. My dad kicked our cat out of the house cause she pissed everywhere. I like cats but our last two have been hell. I would post pics of my cat and dog, but I'm not sure how to use my sisters digital camera to post pictures.
  6. Me too. It was terrible. You can't even say suck over there. No smilies or :fthecubs or or or or :fyou and so on. Here there are a lot of more true fans than at WSI and the boards are more active, because just about all of the posters had like a 0.3 posts per day.
  7. I know he had a really long one when I was there, and that might be the one you're thinking of. The record is held by Thomas now, I believe, from a shot against the Twins in 2002. Before that Chavez from Oakland had the record I'm pretty sure.
  8. Hocking is around a .220 hitter and at least half of his hits came against us. I wouldn't like to see him as the backup 2 bagger. Willie Harris is better IMO because he has more speed and can play CF too.
  9. Ron Karcavice, if thats how you spell it. I just remember him as being an old man who caught and had decent power.
  10. I thought it was Mike Tyson at first too, but then I realized that it was Chandler. The Bulls do really need him because Fizer and Curry are too lazy and don't bring anything special to the floor.
  11. Dial up I presume? I share your laziness, but I don't need to wait with a cable modem.
  12. How 'bout them Panters? I said how 'bout them Panthers?......I hate that Snickers commercial.
  13. That is true. I was just starting conversation.
  14. What a great game to look back on 16 months later.
  15. I wish they were back in Florida so I could go see them every year during spring break. My dad is trying to convince my mom to go to Arizona instead of Florida this year, so I have to keep my fingers crossed.
  16. It took you ten months to figure out how to log on? Anyways, welcome aboard from a fellow newbe.
  17. I was just pondering the thought. It was said that because of renovations on the concourse it would have to be moved and JR was going to make the sponsors pay for it to be moved to a less popular area, such as right field and they didn't want to pay more for something of less value.
  18. Lance Johnson, I dunno why, but that's just who I remember liking a lot as a kid.
  19. The Plumbers union that used to sponser the shower has stopped it's sponsorship, according to reports on WSI by a guy whos friend is part of the union. He said his friend told him that JR had raised the sponsorship price and the union decided not to continue. JR is too cheap to pay for it by himself, because it would cost him so much, about $3 a game. JR :fyou
  20. Me too. That place sucked. I was even on WSI for a little and it was still suprisingly subpar.
  21. Great site! I love the "Outside the stadium peanut vendor"
  22. Thak you so much for not having any annoying as hell Scrub trolls here. I go on several other boards and I'm beginning to stay here more because they are so annoying. Thanks again. :fthecubs trolls
  23. CWSOX- Let's just agree to disagree. I don't know Bonds on a personal basis so I don't know what he's really like. All my life I've seen the press portray him as a bad guy, and that does influence my opinion. I'm certainly not saying the press is right, but that's how he gets treated. And since you were at the Homer Derby, you are well aware that at least 40% of the people there have the same feelings as me. So the press must be right to some extent. There was a lot of booing during BP for such a great player. I neither booed nor cheered because I don't hate the guy, he just not one of my favorites. I do believe that he took steroids or some form of performance enhancers because I have cards from when he was on the Pirates and I've seen pictures, and taking those drugs cause me to lose some respect for him. And, even if the Home Run Derby is a gimmick, even though I don't believe it is, us fans payed a lot of money to see the BEST home run hitters compete and Barry Bonds should have been there. He makes enough money and should be happy to play major league baseball because it is so many peoples dream and he has such a talent but he wants to keep it to himself, and I find that selfish, back to my original statement.
  24. Def. Google. Yahoo used to be mine until I found Google.
  25. I've been there too. It is a great ballpark and all, but that city really needs to spend their money elsewhere. The ballpark cost $6 million. That could have been used towards new schools or rebuilding some of the downtown area. They only avg. just above 2,000 for a 6,000+ seat stadium and at that rate, they won't profit off the team for many years.
