QUOTE(JimH @ May 15, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) Go hide behind your uniform. What has that got to do with anything? You dont like what I have to say then go back to ignoring it. I am not interested in your opinion at all. -

QUOTE(gettysburg32 @ May 15, 2005 -> 04:10 PM) SOX LOSE :puke I'm normally optimistic, and I'm not worried, and I'm not f***ing or s***ting or damning or hating anyone, we're still 27-11 which is laughably brilliant, and we're still 4 gms up on the Twins. That being said however, I'm fed up with the KonerkoDye co-slump, and I'm fed up with Cotts. Nothing that can really be done about KonerkoDye, but unfortunately for Cotts, something can be done about him. If Walker continues to be anything equal to or better than decent, when Gload returns, Walker should stay. The end. (until tomorrow night, such is part of why baseball, in general, is great) We're still 5 up on the Twins. That's not whats bothering me though. Whats bothering me is that we can't hit a goddamn thing. -

QUOTE(JimH @ May 15, 2005 -> 03:50 PM) Normally I ignore most of your posts. Normally I could give a f*** less what you think.............Including now. -
QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ May 15, 2005 -> 03:44 PM) Well, booing him won't help his self-esteem any I think of cheering someone as support, too. Not just as some reward for playing well. I can understand the frustration, but IMO making insults towards these players when they aren't their best isn't really right. Personally I despise the "If you're doing good we love you, if ur not doing good we hate you" attitude that it seems is quite common, especially in Chicago(Sox anyway). Everyone goes through slumps. Ease off a bit on the "eat s***" and "Cocks" and all that other crap, jeez. I realize it's frustrating if not everything is perfect, but that's how it is. I'm sick of hearing about players self esteem. This guy is making 8 million dollars a year. If he cant produce then he deserves to get booed.

QUOTE(whitesoxjr27 @ May 15, 2005 -> 03:43 PM) paulie is in some kind of mind set. jeez Why the f*** is this guy constantly swinging at pitches out of the zone and letting pitches over the plate go by? Does anyone bother to mention this? Does that worthless douchebag Greg Walker see that? What the f***!!!!! -
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 15, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) What's the excuse today, gentleman? Did Ozzie not properly define his role this evening? Was the lapse in defense responsible? The lapse in COCKS bladder control is to blame.

QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 15, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) Oh, the memories, Cotts was pissing himself back then and he's still doing it now. COCKS has a package of Pampers in his locker. Walker is the guy who changes him when he s***s on himself. -

Neal Cocks f***ing sucks. As ABOZ would say.......hes as worthless as a used tampon. -
QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ May 15, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) Not surprsing at all (if indeed the documents are authentic), given that Saddam repeatedly violated UN resolutions throughout the previous decade. It's a shame that the used the WMD excuse to try to win popular support, though. That said, I'm sure that the Iraqi people are glad that he's gone. They defenitely are. Take it from someone who was there.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 15, 2005 -> 10:32 AM) On the flipside, we also lead the majors in caught stealing with 19. Meaning, we're successful about 70% of the time -- so, overall, it's not making a huge factor in our wins and losses (aside from Podsedniks stolen bases, which are making a difference). I just hope Ozzie realizes that there's only a few guys on this team who should be attempting stolen bases consistently. No more running Joe Crede or Carl Everett, even in a two strike count. Even if Posednik doesn't steal he is still a major factor on the basepaths. His very presence there is a big distraction to the opposing pitcher and guys like Gooch see better pitches to hit or walk because of it.

Frank to Begin Rehab Assignment Tuesday

QUOTE(3E8 @ May 15, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) I actually think we should pin a "Frank Watch" thread in the Pale Hose Talk. I agree. MODS ( snaps finger ) Make it happen. Seriously though I can't wait for him to come back. If he gets back into his old form or anything close to it then our offense is gonna explode. When was the last time that Frank had guys like Pods and Gooch hitting in front of him? -
QUOTE(3E8 @ May 15, 2005 -> 12:45 PM) And that would be considered a major success, almost half a million more seats sold. A very noticable increase in revenue. We're gonna need it. If I'm not mistaken we have a few contracts to renew in the very near future. (Garland, Konerko)

QUOTE(3E8 @ May 15, 2005 -> 12:41 PM) f***ing idiot. You don't go from twenty-something in attendance to selling out every home game, hot start or not. I will be quite pleased with a healthy, but reasonable increase in ticket sales. If we keep up this hot play all season I bet you we have a nice 25% increase in attendance this year.

QUOTE(mmmmmbeeer @ May 15, 2005 -> 12:16 PM) Best starting record since the '84 Tigers...they shoulda sold out. As an out-of-town fan, I can't describe how frustrating it is NOT to be able to go to these games. The fact that there are millions of people up there who can drive an hour or two and be sitting inside the Cell watching an awesome team yet don't is f***ing frustrating. I'll finally get up there for the CLE series next month. Hopefully I'll be sitting in the midst of a sellout being the weather excuse will no longer be running rampant by that time. Incidentally, as I've said before, I'm not dogging folks on this board who live in Chicago. We're the diehards and I know that each of you gets to every game you can. Don't take my comments personally. If I didn't live in Arizona I'd be a season ticket holder. I will, however, make it to all 6 games that come up during my vacation at the end of this month into early June.

QUOTE(Nokona @ May 15, 2005 -> 11:51 AM) Well whaddya know, Jay finally writes something about us. After a loss. Yeah, but this time it was overwhelmingly positive.
-
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ May 15, 2005 -> 11:31 AM) I just dont understand why Konerko gets cheered so much when he has sucked this year. Im not saying boo him but save the cheering for another player that deserves it more like Podsenick, Iguchi, Uribe, Everett, recently Rowand... all of our pitchers. I dont post about Kong here a whole lot, although I do remember posting a few times that he needed to get his act together, but anyone who's in chat regularly during the games knows that I rip on Kong regularly for not hitting.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 15, 2005 -> 12:41 AM) He could miss his scheduled start against us... http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=683104 Me personally I want to see Zambrano play. I want to see Posednik, Timo and Gooch drive him insane. LOL! -
It would have been totally funny if that fan had thrown a syringe at him.

QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ May 15, 2005 -> 12:39 AM) Shut the hell up! Garcia has had 2 bad outings this year and the rest were very good. I'd like to see you do better. Garcia has been pitching like crap lately and I addressed it. Garcia had no business being out there in the 7th when he had a high pitch count and clearly didn't have his best stuff. Oh by the way......I don't get paid millions of dollars a year to pitch.......troll.
